This fatality animation has got everybody talking and oooohing and aaaahing and I admit it is fantastic and adds blood curdling realism to the game......but there is a dark side to it...

You must wait for the animation to finish before you can do anything.  You are essentially "locked in" until the animation finishes

I have died only a few times because of this because I had to wait for it to finish the "ballet of death" before I could MOVE!!!  And as we all know moving out of the way or trying to get position is critical in this game

I desire a toggle for this Fatality so we can have the option either to turn it off on the fly or turn it off completely via interface menu or as a skill we can simply click to use

I just don't like the fact that it is random and it occurs when you least expect it and then you are "locked in" for the duration

Your thoughts, dicuss

I completely agree, though like you, it has only gotten me killed a few times.  After the initial fancy of watching your character perform these moves it just becomes a self-snare and there is nothing more annoying than losing control, whether it's done to you by another or yourself.

Id like to see this too. I dont mind the blood and guts (and I rather like it). The only thing I dont like is the screen splatter... I think its unnecessary and doesnt really add to the games realism.  I suppose if you were playing a Ranger and playing in 1st person it would add realism though... but still.

Also would like an option to hide capes.
Sit-able furniture.
/sleep emote.
A dressing room so I can see what armour looks like before I buy it.
Flip the crossbows around... they look soooooooo ridiculous the way they sit on your back. The trigger should be pointing out.

(Interesting post.)    I was under the impression that I recieved no damage during the animation. Have to keep a closer eye on it I guess.

As far as I've noticed I also haven't received any damage upon fatality animation. But there is an option in the interface options called 'mature content' I believe that gets rid of them if you want.

Behold! Rash of the Itch King comes in November! Quake in fear!

You deserve to die if you want to dance around like a Ballerina in a dark gritty world like Conan's.

I haven't noticed myself taking damage either - thought you were 'invulnerable' for the few seconds while performing a fatality... is this not so?  if it isn't, it's a silly oversight by developers but one I'm sure they could quickly change.

You may not take damage but still there you are ,  left pissing in the wind waiting for the animation to finish before you can move ...and during that time the enemy has positioned themselves around you strategically

I really only want the Fatality on single encounter mobs....I don't want it going off during a group encounter with four mobs wanting to hack me to death

I did a double fatality yesterday which was very sweet to me... but perhaps a good fix would be to extend the duration of the invulnerability effect by 2 seconds AFTER the fatality is done' as if causing 'fear' in the enemy at the sight of such savagery that they 'miss' and also allowing the player to reposition themself against the rest of their opponents...
