at level 22 I am already sick of running BS quests. Please tell me that i will be able to group up with others and grind out or dungeon crawl my way through levels later on.

that grouping will be worth it in terms of exp and loot.

I am tired of feeling like i am playing a single player game.

I didnt make it to 20 in beta for the same reason...  I'd really like to hear a good answer to this question myself.

Is AoC really just a solo and PvP game or is it a fun group oriented MMO as well once you hit a certain level?

I want to talk my girlfriend into playing AoC with me, but so far she isnt interested because it doesnt look like fun grouping from what she's seen.

It all really depends on what you mean by "is it worh it"

If you mean by finishing quests faster then its very worth it. I got to 39 doing like this (but it was hard since the tanks taunt isnt working right)

If you mean by dungeon crawling and getting great loot, then no its not worth it. Single player dungeon crawls yields the same quality of loot as the grouped version does.

Be my friend!

I felt the same way while in beta this past winter and spring. Levels 1-20 is mostly single player only. 21-30 is half single player and half find a group when u can to complete a quest. Don't get worried though, grouping will be essential in the later levels when doing epic dungeon runs for loot. Although, one could pretty much get to level 80 playing solo if one desires. This is one reason why I think AoC will get boring to most after the first few months, just like WoW did when it first went live. The game is just to easy and not very challenging because Funcom decided to please the gamers that love to group and the gamers that love to solo. Grouping should be required in MMO's when u hit a certain level to progress further, but this new ERA of MMO's are geared to soloing more than grouping. Things have changed since the glory days of EQ Live. U don't have to work for success, it's just given to you just for logging on.

This may be fun for many 12-16 year old weak minded children out there, but even they get bored after a while.

Help someone who can not return the favor.

Well you definitely don't have to do quests until 80 because there's like none after 50 lol. Either grinding mobs or doing dungeons a lot is currently the only way to get from 50-80. At your level I suggest finding a guild on your server, make some friends in there, and then just quest with them as much as you like.

Is 50-80 grind by design or have they just not put the quests in yet?
