Right im still in shock that they don't take Maestro cards, that basically fucks over 25% of the people in the UK, 2nd of all it won't allow me to sign up without putting my bank details in or using a prepaid card, i'm not paying for 60 days without trying the game for the first 30 first. What are funcom doing? or have i missed something, how do i solve this problem as all my family have Maestro cards to. |

I don't play the game but does it offer the option to use switch? Switch is handled the same so it should go through if that option is available. |

OP use a pre-paid Visa card, e.g. https://www.3vcash.com
I know a few people that use them when they either don't have a CC or don't want to risk using a CC online. -No credit checks -Can top up anytime you like etc |

I bought a 2 months gamecard and then put "pay by cash" as an option, worked like a clock. Dunno if i needed the gamecard or if it would have worked just with the 30 days you get with the gane however. |

I'm not sure I would call either of you an idiot, but with that said it should be Funcom's goal to make life as easy as possible for it's beloved customers. If Maestro is a wide-spread CC in the UK then maybe they should support it. Now, you really shoudl be e-mailing Funcom and explain them your problem instead of venting to us. There's nothing we can do about it as justifiable your problem might be. |
