I do not understand the chaos and constant attack against AoC nor do I understand the sudden fanatics of AoC. To begin with I doubt anyone has gotten into end-game gameplay just because it hasn't been out for even a week meaning that the sudden fanatics might hit a brick wall all of a sudden and it might hurt. Once WoW came out the amount of fans was extremely high but as the time passed and peopls started to notcie the massive grindfest and life-sucking the game starts to get, it hurt. I was a World of Warcraft fan myself, but I realized how it got repetitive and I started to lose my taste for the game and for types of games like these. Not saying that AoC will be like that, hopefully it won't but let's not get to any sudden conclusions before you've actually seen what the game is truly about. Now for all the attacks against the game, give it some time... No need to begin the rejections and demands on change to a game that has just arrived. You never know, you might even play it for a bit and get hooked on it. With all of this said i'm going to try to make a point and it's the following... All this fuzz and all the excitement or disagreements are just not worth it becuase there will always be someone that says that the game is amazing, even if he hasnt even played a whole day, as there will be people who say that the game sucks, in which they havent even tried it sooooooooooooo, all I have to say is that If you do not know if the game would be good, it would be best to try it out yourself and just enjoy whichever decision you have taken about the game. P.S.> It's 2:30am so if I got any sentence that don't make sense feel free to let me know.

I agree with you. If I'm right, what you said mostly boils down to this, "There's no use damning or exulting the game after just a few days. Only time will tell how successful it is, and only experience will tell whether you really like it or not." That's pretty much common sense, but appeals for common sense don't really go down well here. |

You should be glad AoC is attacked. If it was a POS, noone would care. |

And speaking of common sense...only 1/3 of the world has it. Something to think about as you read things on the internet... As for the other stuff about AoC... I've heard a lot of stuff about having to use a credit card to play. First off, all you noobs that haven't played any MMORPG except World of Warcraft...this is normal. Your card doesn't get charged for the first 30 days, but you still need to put one in there to play. It's like a porn site...you get three days free, IF you give them your credit card info so they can charge you after the three days, at which point you have completely forgotten about the site. Now secondly, this game is for advanced MMORPG players, and is geared towards a MATURE audience. In case you don't know what that is: it means little bitches under the age of 18 weren't meant to play it; EVER. Which I think is a great idea, because quite simply put, a good chunk of the MMORPG audience has been playing years before World of Warcraft even hit the market. So we've been waiting for a game to give us more than a tank, a healer, and a "DPS'er". Finally... There will always be someone complaining about the state of a game. That's just the way it is. Developers know this very well; so they take it in stride. They can't please everyone, so they do as good of a job as they can. So complain about it all you want, leave the game, I don't give a shit. The more you post about a game, whether it's positive or negative, the more people are going to want to find out for themselves.

I''m not gonna do your stupid poll. |
So you're saying people should play it more and not talk about it at all? What's the point of these forums then? |
