No it will run in low mode Low mode means very bad frame rates in a zone where people are (I didn't even say a lot) You really need a 8800GTS |

I would hold off on buying AoC today. If you have a look around the forums there is a serious issue when trying to create/upgrade an account to a reatail version. My CE arrived this morning and I am having the same trouble trying to validate my retail key. And from what i have read so far support from Funcom at the moment is basically non existent. This coupled with the fact that you cant even access the official forums means you have 0 hope of getting anywhere past the install stage. Pick it up in a months time may be even 2, hopefuly everything might be running as it should by then.

I would definately buy the game. I had no problem installing it and it runs great. It should run fine on low settings. |

It is indeed ugly on low. Faces that dissapear and weapons are 20 cm off from where they should "hang". Low = is about the same quality of a bad PS1 game, But the stuttering (even on low) in Cities will be the death penalty for your system

I have a FX-60, 2 gigs RAM and a 7800GS and it runs fine on low settings. It's not the greatest looking, of course, but it does well enough. |
