First off this game is great fun! The combat mechanics will make this the best PvP game ever, imo. Ive played pretty much every popular MMO that has released and 90% of them on the first day of launch . Aoc by far has had the best performance of all of them. My latency is around 90- 130 ms on the Bluesteel server and i'm in Northern Alberta ,Canada. My FPS are an amazing 45-130 ,on avg about 70fps. All my settings are on max as well as my screen resolution. However I'm sporting a E8400 @ 3ghz x 2, 4 gb 1066 ram, and a amazing overclocked 9800gx2 ssc vid card. So if you dont have this game get it. very fun! Look for me on the Bluesteel server, i'll be the barbarian taking your head off from the shadows. Kosdeth 13 Barbarian, Bluesteel server |

Server side performance is as you say, impeccable, and I agree that the PvP system will be entirely rewarding to those who are killed. However the UI is quite lacking, especially (as mentioned many times) the chat box and guild interface. These can of course by changed with mods now, but still as it is the only way to communicate you would think they could have put more effort into it. The other thing is the traders and hence lack of bank/AH, but of course all games have startoff glitches like this, and I'm sure they will be fixed soon. |

The UI is crap i agree. the chat box and communication in this game are horrible as well. I'm sure Funcom will do something soon about them.......I hope. |

I am having a blast on the game. Few errors i've seen, but this two hour downtime that their having i'm sure is to fix some of them. |
