WAR (Warhammer Online)

I work at Best Buy, and last week WAR  collector edition pre order boxes appeared on our shelves. 

To me this hints that WAR isnt that far off, and open beta even sooner...... but whats the latest word on release dates?  A beta tester friend of mine said that release was pushed back to november... if so why the pre order box so early?

The release date was pushed to Fall on the exact day the CE was announced.   Best Buy made a boo boo shipping every single Pre order box to 1 Best buy location thats why your just now getting them.  Infact several other best buys have had them for weeks now.  It has nothing to do with the release schedule only to do with a clerical error.   :) This has been a known issue via the War Herald's official information.  I've had my CE and the pre order goodies since the Day the CE went on sale in April.

yeah i got mine about 5 weeks go..pre-ordered from BEST BUY too    

it was an error on Best Buys part  and the release date is Fall  hopefully around the start of October (Last rumor i heard but could be around there)

I preordered from Amazon.com and it says Shipping Date: October 1, 2007.

How do you have all your stuff already?

Hey, thanks for the info, My brother ordered the CE form amazon too, and he was certain that he had thrown the codes out with the spam.

Havn't decided if I wanna keep it yet, but if CE's keep going for as much as they do on Ebay from past games and now I see some of the AoC CEs were up around the $300 mark!  I've also seen WoW CE's go for over $400 too so I think I'm gonna hang onto it and possibly sell it one day or just have it in case a future friend might wanna join me and wants the CE extras.

If you go back to Amazon and look at the page for Warhammer Online CE it tells you how to get your item codes.   They're in your My Media / Downloads  section.  They have been since you made your order.

 

 

Oh no, I knew that. Thanks. I meant the art books and the figure. It sounded like some people already have that?

Oh lol um no when they say "pre order box" they mean a box that contains the codes and nothing else.  Some stores use a box & some just have the tickets with no box.  The art books etc are part of the actual CE Box not part of the pre order.

Amazon and other sites only charge your CC when the game ships or is about to ship correct? Not when you pre-order the box?
