CPU and RAM are fine, most everything else is fine....
Might worry about the GPU. I can never remember which Radeons are which, but 256 video RAM is a bit low no matter what card. |

No wait till you get a new pc my specs are almost the exact same as yours P4 3.3ghz * by the way the (2 cpus) that means hyper threading which isn't dual core. 2gb ram ati x1650 pro I played the game for like a hour and gave up, i couldn't even run it on window mode. I plan on getting a new pc around xmas time though so i'll just wait For the guy that posted above me the cpu is not fine thats the main reason for failure with newer games on single cores, its because these games are designed for dual core cpus. Trying to run games such as this or any other 08 released game on a single core cpu will bottleneck your gpu. |

I have nearly identical stats: Core2 Duo 3.9Ghz processor 2 gig RAM 8800GTS 640MB vid card
Aside from a lot of video RAM (which I need; it's the older GTS chipset and not as efficient as the newer 512Mb ones). And I run fullscreeen 1900x1200 res with everything maxed without a problem. |

Clench all you want, it''s still going in. |
your video card is a bit on the low side. I play on this system: AMD64 3200 Single Core 2gb DDR400 (Kingston) ATI x1650 512mb AGP
Game runs pretty well on medium settings, adjusted toward high. (1k view range, shader 3.0, 3x AS, 2 x AA, no shadows or bloom, high texture settings) I get about 20 fps in tortage day, 30-ish everywhere else, with spikes of up to 60 fps in some dungeons. So, you might be able to get by on low settings (which still looks quite nice) or you may want to look into picking up a better graphics card. |

Two CPU's are reported for a single-core CPU if it supports Hyper-Threading (HT). EDIT: Oops, the above poster beat me to it! ;-)

Thx for the imput guys saved myself that 50 bucks. Maybe I will add some to it and invest in a newer vid card and maybe some mor ram. But for now I am not buying AoC. Thx again, this is why mmorpg communities are so important and helpful. |
