Age of Conan

I have always been a hardcore PVE player/raider in WoW, with 0 interest in PvP. Am i going to like AoC or should i not even bother getting it? All i hear about it is about the combat and pvp systems there. What about PvE? Are there high end raids with large groups of people, like current high end raids in WoW? Are there equivalents of WoW dungeons? Are there PvE servers where I could avoid gankage?

I am currently a bit tired of WoW and want to try something new, but if PvE is bad in that game, it would be a total waste of 50 bucks for me. So, am i going to like it or not?

There are PvE "non-ganking" servers, and raid dungeons at lvl 80!  However I'm seeing a ton of mixed signals in all posts on AoC!  Probably best to wait until the free month is over and then see how the subscriptions are holding.

Feels a lot like EQ2 in terms of character facing, movement, handling, and key spamming.

You can play on a PVE server and there is raid content though i have no clue how good it is or how complete it is. This game is a bit more PvP oriented with sieges and things like that but there is definately a PVE aspect to it. If you have a high end pc then it would be worth a try since nothing else new is due out til fall.

No, this game is not for you. Rather than waste $50 on this game, get out of the basement, fill up the gas tank of your car, and drive to Vegas and get a hooker.

in an article I read there is gonna be 8 raids upon release with 3 tiers to each one so it sounds like there is gonna be plenty of raiding to be done

plus there are some damn good group dungeons even before you get to 80, like Sanctum Of Burning Souls (37+).

AOC has a good amount of PVP and PVE sort of like WoW, its just that the combat is alot more involved.  Its the type of game that requires you to actually play it to see if it is something you are comfy with.  I have played WoW since it was released, and now I own and play AOC, and I have to say that the first 1-20 levels of AOC are better so far then 1-70 of WoW.  Now certain things about wow are fun, for example the amount of people make it easy to get groups etc.  But the gameplay for me is way too boring now that I have played AOC.  Ultimately dont listen to anyone here, just go get the game play the free month and see if its for you, or try and get a buddy to give you a bestest best pals key which i think is 7 days free so you can try it out.  The game is truely amazing if you take the time to understand the mechanics and like story orientated games.  One thing that is better right off the bat, is the player cities that are PVE based and not PVP.  So you can still create your city and never touch the pvp games.  Check it out, im sure you will enjoy it, and if you dont I know Warhammer is comming out in a few months and that looks interesting too.
