It is good move of them since those who gonna play WAR beta in current state probably get so interested from game that they don't even think to cancel their pre-orders. |

I'm not sure how you can consider inviting more Testers as a 'good move' when its simply standard proceedure when you have 3 to 4 months left of testing. And any beta tester that cancels a pre order over closed beta testing (which is in WAR's case atleast not even the full client at any one time they're doing strickly focus testing) is obviously a tard and probably pissed off for getting kicked out of beta for releasing information. Cancellation time for most MMO players that know anything about games is usually when the NDA is lifted and negative but well detailed reviews come out (and the NDA will be lifted before OB they stated this) and if OB goes especially wrong. anyway good luck to the euro folks on getting one of the keys..*prays they invite more us players soon* Please Refer to Doom Cat with all conspiracies & evil corporation complaints. He'll give you the simple explination of..WE"RE ALL DOOMED! |

Apparently US invites also coming out. Some people claim to already have had their accounts updated to Beta status on the US site. So you might want to check your account there. |

Anyone else like me maybe sitting on the fence as to whether they want in Beta or not? Everytime I get in a Beta it takes the excitment off of the final release, rather than the buzz of getting in the game on release you are drip fed small doses of incompleteness via Beta. Although I don't think I could ever actually resist taking part in Beta if an invite came my way. :) btw I consider myself an almost perfect beta tester. I am very aware I am there to test and I make sure I spend the vast majority of my time actually testing and reporting, probably have a few records for the most indepth beta bug reports LOL So anyone else maybe not certain if they really want in Beta at this stage? (silly question heh) |

Originally posted by Vortigon I kind of thought the same thing but honestly I am far to bored to wait for release. I got invited to beta just today but I don't plan on playing 24/7 like I would on release with my friends. I am going to take it easy and enjoy testing the game and leave the real exploring to release. Friends also make a big difference so unless they get into beta as well it will be a lone wolf experience for me. |

Keep in mind that this is a FOCUS TEST Beta. In otherwords, you only test certain parts of the game at a time, not all of it. This is more for the people who actually want to contribute to making the game good: Ideas for gameplay, class balance discussions, squashing bugs, etc. If all you want to do is play, you may be disappointed since it's only in chunks at a time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWdd6_ZxX8c |
