Most veteran mmoers will understand where im coming from on this.

One of my new rules is to never buy a new mmo without first trying it with a buddy key and/or free trial. So if anyone would be kind enough to send one to arobi@eastlink.ca or pm that would great.

Since the buddy keys won't be activated until the servers are stable for the paying customers, your best bet is to watch a friend of yours play (or as said friend to let you play for a while).

I can see where you're coming from but I would recommend the game without hesitation. It is shaping up to be something to behold.

I think its a pretty easy question.

What game are you playing right now? If you are bored with the other MMO's then jump right in and dont worry about the 40 bucks. If you are currently pretty happy with a game you are playing then just wait it out.

Thanks for all the replys everyone. Currently I am playing Lotro but im just getting bored of it, unfortuneatly most mmos cant hold me for more then 3 months. My first 3d mmo was Daoc and I played that for quite awhile, you never get that first mmo feeling back though. Besides that the only other mmo that I truly loved was pre-cu SWG but I wont get into what happened there most know already.

Anyway I think I will just check out some reviews and watch the boards for the next couple days and if everything looks good as I have read so far I will pick it up, I dont expect a free trial for a few months.

I look at it this way

With the unique beginning of the game having a single player aspect, for the cost of any other single player game, you can have 30 days of non-stop fun just playing through the Destiny Quest. About the same amount of fun as any other single player game..

If by that time you decide it does not warrant the monthly fee...you lost nothing as the starting game is that good.

If I do not go beyond my 30 days, my 50 bucks for the box was worth every penny right now, so, I lost nothing..

It is awesome fun..

its alot of fun even if you only play for the 30days without subscribing
