Not wanting to sound like a troll.. but dont make ya mind up untill atleast a month into the game.. then we'll see the true face of AoC.. thats what I am waiting for.

The Game play, game feel, fun factor, gritty atmosphere etc. grab you right away. If it doesn't than you won't enjoy the game.

You don't need a month to know if you're going to enjoy the game, though if you're that sceptical and don't want to try it out for yourself it's your choice.

Also since the core of the game is healthy and polished to an extent, I would at least try if for myself, cause it's a personal opinion and you're the only one who knows if it's the game for you or not.

I just want to see what the end game and high end content is like b4 I dive into AoC. a month and we should start to see.. what PvP, Raids, Seiges all that stuff is realy like.

I don't doubt, though personally I like starting games early!

I do have a couple of friends who want to see what endgame is like before buying and have myself as reference lol.

On topic, I really respect the OP and would love every pre-troll to do the same. Cheers.

If you try to fail, but succeed, which have you done?

to the OP:

I appriciate that you realized that the game is great, because it truely is. However, i feel sorry for you because you WERE one of those many people still out there now, who barely played any content or seen any, yet judge it on 1 biased opinion from someone that hates the game.

People sit here on the forums and talk about how bad and lack of content and shitty the combat is, yet they have more likely never played the game.

Im glad you love the game, and i hope this makes people realize not to judge games by games without testing the game yourself.

Unfortunately, my main concern (while waiting for my pre-order box) is still valid.
It's about world being instanced. Now I read in another post 100 ppl per instance. I couldn't tell if they were referring to the -well known- by now 48v48 sieges instance or in every "zone" in the world.
I'd hate it if all the zones had 100 ppl max before new instance is created. I mean, imagine being a guild, having gathered 40-50 ppl to attack your enemy guild where they XP in order to revenge for something that happened earlier, only to find out they are in some instance of the zone that is max'ed out and you can't go in.............
Guild wars would be one....hell...of....a......problem.

groups will get instanced to the same place

Have you actually read my post?

My grp may zone in all together but if the enemies' instance is full (max'ed out) there is NO way we can enter their instance to attack them. That's my concern, hence I said, guild wars (fights between large grps) may be one hell of a problem, due to the instances and the limited population per instance.

personally i m putting off buying conan for a few months simply because i was put off by the poor performace i was getting in the beta on a machine that falls somewhere in between the recomended and required specs ( tried everything defragged, shut off background programs,  tweaked etc ) even on medium and lower settings ) . there nothing wrong with my rig it plays every other game without any problem it just struggled with conan beta . it was enough for me to cancel my pre order and adopt a wait and see approach . when theres a free trial i reformat my hard drive just to be certain theres no nastys lurking about and give it another go . either that or i ll wait for it to come down in price and take a chance and hope the release client is an improvement .

Well, as they said, you can't just walk up to a guild's base and tear it down. You have to challenge them, and then wait for the specified time, gather up the troops and then do it. I am sure they have a system set up that zones you both into the area together, but with the 100 or whatever cap, I assume that means there also won't be any onlookers, or unexpected little problems that aren't related to either guild.

But then, if you were talking about just finding some random enemy guild members about and ripping through them, well... wouldn't think you'd need 40-50 people for that. ;)

I admit my interest has sort of gone up for this game. It was always there just went down as they removed features and I heard lots of negative comments about the game. Also the extra costs they sneaked in their and lastly the community does not leave a lot to be desired.

It helps the OP seems to like the same types of games as me judging by his post history. The instancing and how well the game is optimised for different hardware is my biggest concern so I will wait a bit  before I go out and buy the game and most likely a new graphics card since mine is starting to show its age.

Also this game appears to gone through a miracle patch which I find hard to believe so I think I will wait for official reviews and the actual release of the game. Before I spend around 80 pounds effectivly just to play it.

In Lineage II, members of a guild would ALL XP in the same place (ie a catacomb) because this makes them stronger and increases their safety. So basically, say there are 4-5 big guilds/allies, they would all XP in different catacombs, (one each). So, if you wanted to "raid" their XP place (a catacomb), you knew there would be at least 20+ of them inside. So you'd gather a corresponding force. This is something common in FFA ope
