I know this isnt very helpful, however I do belive that Lucas Arts has already released a possible end date for SWG, and I do believe that it was because of a pending title. However I read the article some time ago and cannot remeber it excatly.

Lucas Arts is coming out with a TV series that I do believe is NOT based on the clone wars era, but rather on the new comic book series which is 80yrs in the future of Return of the Jedi.  They have also announced (but not given a title, etc) that an MMO would be released inconjuction with the series release.

It is your opinion i think? i didnt hear anything about an "announcement" either

one day before the earth stops turning...we will see a new mmorpg with the Star Wars name.

I hope we see something soon...been waiting since 2006

Good news indeed

     I believe that it was common knowledge that the TV series ( and its hopefully concurrent MMO ) will be set in the years Between Eps 3 and 4 .  But as I reported in my Rodo report 2 and 4 (see below) There is a very High Probability that there will be a Knights of the Old Republic MMO from the Bioware/Lucas Arts partnership.

  Its a wait and see scenerio to be sure but when better to make this annoucement about one or perhaps both MMOs then the Middle of August - When Lucas has the attention of all of the Fans with the release of the Clone Wars CGA movie. I am counting on it and its effect on the beleaguered NGE of SWG.
