Age of Conan

OK, I am a huge fan of this game so please do not think I am a basher but....

I sat ready to go yesterday for my "paid" early launch benefit. It ,of course was delayed, and I left for a vacation  well before it came up. There is high speed access where I am at so I got my gaming lap top  and booted the bad boy up to play today. Low and behold, a similar "we are tweaking" message as yesterday. It will be down for a couple of hours. Of course, I chose the exact moment (1pm CST) as the start of the down time to try and play.

I knew I would not get to play a huge amount during the headstart but so far I am at 0 time. Have not even been able to create a character. I believe if you pay for something you should get it. I have not had my early access so I am a tad miffed.

Just venting really. I am still going to play but i think if Funcom was going to charge extra for early access we should get it 24 hours a day for the three day head start and not be part of final open beta tweaking.

Thank you for your frusttrations, you may now crush a few coke cans.

Sorry to hear about your bad timing, just hold on a couple of hours and i am sure they will be up for you and you will forget all this when you play :D

Well ur in luck...ur not only part of the final open beta tweaking!  Your also part of the "were not finished with the game and still adding major parts to it as well!"  AoC was rushed out and was not rdy for launch!   Just wait till the end of the week when the Power Gamers get near or at the cap and find nothing to do!

How many mmo's can you name that had a ton to do at cap when released?  I can't think of many myself.....

Because you can gather all of that information from a 2 hour downtime!  WOO!

To be fair I think it's just pot luck that the servers were down when you tried to log in. From what I'm seeing it's been a pretty good launch so far and a lot of positive comments. Considering it could potentially have been a soup sandwich with the EA being down more times than it's up then can't really grumble too much.

Go do some stuff , chill for an hour or so, come back , login and enjoy.

You can still pvp or make another toon since all the classes are fukin bad ass!
