First question - since i have no idea what i'm doing at this point - is there a way to change your Skills and Feats later on? And if Yes - who would we go to? Next - i get as melee you want to put points into regening HP and as Mage you want to regen Mana. But what about the others? Like Climbing and run Speed? To those that played in Beta are those something that we should invest in? Does anyone know when we get Hide?

I am investing in Run Speed and Climbing just becuase I would like to run fast and climb. I have encountered some ladders that I had to add skilI points before climbing. I heard there was a 'feat fixer' in the port where I assume you can reroll you feats. |

Originally posted by iflostThere are "feat fixers" throughout the game who can reset your feats for a cost. Invest in EVERY skill you get. You will need to climb in many places, and runspeed can save your life. Some of the climbing points in teh game have point requirements...better to have the skill you need than to have to go level and come back. Also, don't neglect to invest skill points in "recovery", as a melee class, for stamina regen...very important. AS you level, you will gain access to more skills. You will gain skill points very quickly. |

| I remember back in 1999, folks kept asking me if I was stockpiling food. I always answered, "No, I'm stockpiling ammo and making a list of people who are stockpiling food" |

the early feats in each tree are usually pretty good, so you cant go wrong to begin with. you can always save points until you make your mind up. |

The pen is mightier than the sword if the sword is very short, and the pen is very sharp. |
YOu'll find that you have quite a few skills and not enough points to go around. This more or less evens out eventually but I would say max out things you use regularly (regen HP for melee a nd combat casting/mana regen for magesetc). Then keep a handful of points left over to add to ones that aren't full. Something is better than nothing. If you don't have points in climb..it ain't gonna happen! So throw 10- 20 in it initially and then add the fdew leftover you get as you go along. |

As a Tempest of Set, I recently got the skill called, "mana attraction" Does anyone know what this does? The tooltip on it says something to the affect of, "when you use renew mana regen you have a chance of receiving double mana." The thing that confuses me is that Renew Mana is PASSIVE, so how do you *use* it per se? |
