Hey guys,
I have a quick question, I pre-ordered the collectors addition and I went in to pick up my copy at Gamestop recently today. I've been told that even if you pre-ordered at a minimum of 1 month ago, you wont be able to participate in early access due to a seperate purchase? This is all confusing me, so if someone would like to enlighten that would be awesome, thanks. |

I also did my pre-order in March and i just received my Collectors Edition today but I am also in the early access program. I think that the early access is just a temporary way to start your character and play the game until the official launch starts on the 20 of May then reinstall the program from your pre-order because how else are you suppose to get your 2 in-game items that are on the disc. Can anyone confirm this? |

This has led to a lot of confusion by a lot of people. Reading everywhere says pre-ordering gives you access to several things: 1. In-game items 2. Early Access Program
Even though it might be construed that you are part of the early access program just by pre-ordering, this is not the case. You had to actually pay extra in order to get access on the 17th vs. the 20th and have 10 days free beyond that. One can read the access several different ways, but technically, they only offer access to the Early Access Program and not actually inclusion off the bat. But regardless of the initial confusion, all people had to do was read the official announcement when they allowed people to register their keys, which many did not do and which stated clearly the provisions of the early access program. |

There are no 'keys' for early access. Pre-ordering allowed you to register FOR early access (as well as get bonus items: rhino, bow, mammoth, etc); if you haven't entered your pre-order key in and you DON'T have a $5.00 payment showing at https://register.ageofconan.com/account/customer/ctrl/paymenthistory , then you are not registered for Early Access (and you will need to wait until the 20th to play, as Early Access has sold out). Also, at your account logon it would tell you explicitly that you were in Early Access: Welcome to the Age of Conan Early Access Program! So...enter your pre-order code (it probably had the goodies in there, mount etc depending on where you bought it from), then enter the code from your CE. |

You can register more than one key. After you set up your account just add the second key (or third..or whatever) and it will credit you for all you have purchased. |

Originally posted by Nadia This is how I understand it as well, the CD keys are what give you (enter goody here), you will need to enter you box set key as I should expect the early access keys will expire on the 20th or shortly there after doesn't mean you lose the goodies just means that you need a box set key to activate the subscription past that point. The box set key I should expect is what grants the additional goodies i.e. for collector we ge the cape and all that good stuff though I supose they could have tied the class of preorder to the key i.e. your preorder key may include the nessisary ID to activate the full list of goodies per your order type (collectors or standard) though none the less you will need to enter the box set key to keep playing past the early access point at least this is how other games have worked in the past.

What a total load of BS... I preordered a couple of months ago... before game-stop had anything to hand you when you preordered. So I didn't get my preorder code until today when I picked up the game. Now I can't get early access... How can early access be sold out? If the servers can't support all the preorders who were willing to pay an extra five bucks to start early, how the hell are they going to be ready in three days? |

Hm. I preordered from Gamestop just a couple of weeks ago and within a day they had me my email with my pre-order key. |
