Well for the E.A. People anywho. I've paid bills did some food shopping, enjoyed the sun. Now Im settled and ready for a weekend of being anti-social, acussed of living in a "cave" and playing AoC till Monday! I'm hoping others have found funnier things to do! Cya tommorow!

hmm my advice to everyone with a mid range pc . on thier last day of freedom go out and buy a new highspec gaming system or prepare for a big disapointment ( also if you cant afford a new pc get some beers in to drown your sorrows )

I have a mid/high spec pc and it runs fine for me, better in fact that my buddy who has a high spec rig. To be honest if you can only run this game on a 3k machine it will be Funcom drowning their sorrows not the gamers. Just not enough spare cash floating around now as there was a year ago. We in UK ( and I know this is true for the US also ) are on the verge of recession so there are not as many people willing to get into debt to buy a new pc to play a game.

This is bullcrap. I got a 8800GTS 356MB card, 2,66mhz duo-core and a little over 3GB ram and I can run with no problems. This isn't a highspec rig and I can run AoC adequately on high settings and without a hitch on medium. On medium I can even squeeze up AA.

I am trying to rack up major bonus points with the wifey.

Just so everyone knows.. AA isn't worth the FPS hit when running 1024x768 resolutions because you will have hardly any notice of it. 1280x1024 might be the same result depending on monitor. AA should only be used at high res 1680x1080 and up.

I have my freedom until tuesday    But I don't have a job and spent my money set aside for AOC on vodka so I need to go work with my father this weekend to get some money lol.

All the AOC digs are just getting tired from people playing it on a Calico or a Leapster

I don't know why people feel the need to come here and exaggerate about system requirements.  If video games are your hobby, buy or build a rig that can play games.  If you can't afford to do that, get a cheaper hobby.  Simple enough.  It's really not that expensive anymore to build a decent computer.

people laugh at "kids" like me that have to deal with parents (i'm 18 but still at home), but I reckon parent aggro is not as bad as wife aggro (edited).

I'm buying a 1680x1080 screen (mine is glitchy), and conscious that I might have to go down to medium settings to get my AA. graphics without AA are broken graphics to me, maybe its from my console gaming background but I just can't stand those zigzag edges. maybe I just don't understand the tech....
