Now that we Euros have only one whole day left before 17th May and early access, I find myself having nothing to do. It's just waiting. I've done all my work upfront and started my vacation today. My fridge is prepared and stocked with food, goodies, beer and energy drinks for ups and downs. I've even polished my mouse for accurate fatalities.

My computer is full of boring games and you can play The Last Stand only so many times until it gets boring too. My girlfriend is away whole weekend so she's not here whipping me and there's not even cleaning to do since the house is shining like a mirror. Even my dog is fed up with this waiting. We've watched every decent movie and scrolled through every comic of Ctrl+Alt+Del up to date.

I've ran out of ideas.

I challenge YOU fellow players to come up with grand ideas to slay time. The winner gets a pint in Hyboria.

The only problem with killing time is it will just respawn in the zone, whine on the forums about you ganking it, and then the devs will nerf you.

Have you seen that bright round thing outside the house. It's called the sun. It's supposed to be good, but I'm not really sure. Why don't you check it out :)

Thanks for the hint but I'll see it at least three times a day when I go out with the dog.

Besides it's already dark and there might be vampires on the move. I just watched 30 days of night.

Forgive my ignorance, I don't keep up with the Euro release very well, since I'm a westerner... but I remember the EU release being 3 days behind the American release(due to EU releases being on Fridays versus Tuesdays).  So, did the EU release get bumped up to the same day, or do you guys get 6 days of early access to make up for it?

Yup, six day to make  up for it release date hasnt changed, early access has.

Hehe, thought we Europeans were Westerners :) I'm playing GTA4 multiplayer, though the competion isnt much of a challange :P

Thanks a lot, I'm a vampire.  You know how many times people say that.  Why not go to the beach or why not enjoy the park... I can't b/c I'll die.  Sure I can live forever and I'll always be young but being a vampire has major negatives... anyway, why don't you check out lava pit.

Too bad I sold my 360 in december since it was only collecting dust. I would love to play GTA4 now that it's out and obviously pretty damn good too.

Shame. Its the best 360 game by far blows any so called "Nextgen" title out of the water, as it actually has content and lasts more than 8 hours hehe

The western civilization started in Europe by Greek philosophy. Western civilization is an abstract idea, not a geographical place. Even Japan and Australia are considered the "western world".

I do however agree that USA is most west - if you look at it from that angle and that map

Look on the front page, Requiem is open beta and you can just download it and play now.  A new MMORPG horror genre game.

As for killing time i spent most of yesterday setting up a teamspeak server on an old computer i hade in the basement, always fun and scary with a nostalgia trip down win 98 memory lane :)

Hehe I know what you mean. You don't see win 98s that much anymore. I got a buddy who's using a laptop running win98 connected to GPS while he is doing landsurveying in lapland. Making the connection as fast as possible and easy to use on old laptop, he chose the 98 since you can run it without firewall and virusprograms to slow it down. No one makes active viruses for that OS anymore.
