Are there any printed maps with AoC?. I am not sure what comes in the box. I have got my early access and the game is DL and patched waiting for 5pm on the 17th.

I have done a quick search but can only find the map which is printed in the Conan books. The regions and therefore Maps may still be coverered by the NDA but does anyone know of any printable maps?

God made women because mens brains are broken.

You know...many years ago when my brothers started getting SSoC (Savage Sword of Conan) subscriptions I use to read them and enjoy them as much as they did.    One of the things I use to do was look at where the story was taking place and then try to locate it on the map of Hyboria that was always located at the beginning of most issues or somewhere between the pages of the SSoC graphic novels.    I always tried to picture these places in my mind and not just the images provided by the magazine.  I tried to envision them as I thought they must be.

Here we are years later.   Some of those places I read about in SSoC as I followed the travels of Conan are in AoC!   Know what is even cooler?  I can play a character in Hyboria!!!!!!!

That just rocks!!!!

Well, I know the collectors edition comes with a really beautiful detailed map, as for the plain version, there might be a paper map, but even if there isn't you can bet there will be a map available online sometime in the near future.

As a side note, the ingame map system is AWESOME.

yes know how you feel :)

I used to like the big computer game boxes with manuals, guides and maps. I have just been looking at my Ultima Online map  and can see where I wrote, many years ago " here be dragons " ...lol

I have been able to help out many begineers over the years by using the notes that i made on my game maps. There is nothing i hate more in a game then being told to kill 20 XXX and having no idea where they are :)

The pen is mightier than the sword if the sword is very short, and the pen is very sharp.

It has potential for awesome. I look forward to seeing them especially the local mini-map be able to zoom in and out correctly and reflect the changes in elevation as you do so.
