Neat animations. Interesting concept.
Particularly with collision detection I can see some great tactical advantages in PvP come to play. A shield phalanx to protect the spellcaster from enemy Meleeattacks while he does his Spellweaving for example.
And obviously, defending Mages in sieges will be brutal I suppose. |

I would assume it's primarily for PvE. It might work in sieges though if the enemies are unable to interrupt. |

I guess they are trying for something 'newish' with the magics... but I am not sure I want to stand there for a few minutes quaking with magical constipation... We will have to see if this is actually worth while. |
