It only takes one whiner to create a long heated thread.  Just a handful of whiners can practically overtake an entire forum with their trolling.

Most of the whining is often entirely incorrect or statements/predictions based on opinion and sketchy evidence. 

It's entirely possible that some of them are paid or unpaid shills that are trying to create negative publicity during the crucial launch period.

Don't make any decisions based on what you read in forums from completely anonymous people.  Try to make informed decisions based on sources you have found reliable in the past.

these posts are really just as bad. Trying to say nobody is aloud to have a certain outlook on the game is kind of ridiculous and not something to worry yourself with. If you enjoy the game, play it. Most knowledgeable people are ignoring the biased answers from both sides of this nonsense. Yeah, people really shouldn't be taking much "advice" from these forums. But that goes for both sides of the argument.

Second, don't flame the reasonable people who actually dislike the game for their own reasons, labeling them as trolls. If they want to share their opinion, you can agree or disagree, but when you start insulting them then it gets out of hand. If they aren't 100% educated, correct them in a logical, well-mannered way. Not "read before you post stupid troll!".

Third, your last sentence is right. But assuming they're paid to stir up bad hype before the launch? Lol, I s'pose it's possible, but really. Come on.

Well, I understand what he is saying. These same few individuals post nothing but lies. Total opposites from what I have read officially and played in beta.

If you look at the past posts that these few individuals make, they are ALL about AoC. Like as if they spend their day writing threads to bash the game.They are all fans of other games or pissed because their computer sucks. That's it. Nothing more.

No matter what they try to say or "warn others" about, they can't deny the fact that the early access passes are SOLD OUT and that has to mean something at least. They can't stop this train from coming. There is going to be a very large playerbase.

The "haters" (liars) are fans of:

WAR

WOW

DF

LotR

I don't know about anyone else but I don't expect AoC to "steal" subs from their game enough to make it a gamebreaking issue for them. I am perfectly happy with a normal 200K subs like every game that has came out in the past, except WoW of course. 200K subs is a successful number, always has been.

Are they worried everyone will leave their game?

Are they ashamed of the game they are fans of?

We could easily turn the tables on them. I mean look at that list.

Is it EXACTLY the game that I want? No. However, I have a lot of fun in beta. I didn't lie to myself and pretend that my computer was good enough either. I prepared.

I swear when they make threads its about a totally different game than what I played.

You got to also keep in mind that there people who didnt complain on the foums but took action.

On a seperate note, a lot of the "complainers/whiners" on this forum actually make valid points, and generally its the fanbois, such as yourself, who turn it into a "flame" war.

I am in LotRO (founder lifetime account actually, I WILL be buying AoC and playing it alongside LotRO. I find them both to be great games in their own rights.

I don't see how my original post was a complaint or a whine.  Look up the definition of complain or whine before using it.

I just wanted to inject a small voice of reason in the mass of senseless negative threads filling this forum.

It's a game.  It's supposed to be entertainment.  Some people need to calm down and remember that there are more important things in the world to be angry about.
