http://www.cracked.com/article_16196_7-commandments-all-video-games-should-obey.html I think #1 is the best one. |

I actually rank 1, 2, 6, and 7 as the most important. Most of us have known for awhile that the split screen was being retired due to the greed of developers. Most PC gamers have been dealing with patching issues since '94 at the latest. And I was tired of padded content long before GTA 3 came out on the PS2. |

That was actually quite good. I definitely agree with commandment 7 and 1
My favorite bit tho was this in Commandment 7 And these are the same people who're baffled about how the Nintendo Wii was able to depants the whole industry with its cheap, underpowered little machine. Hey, maybe it's because they're the one company that still seems to realize humans need interaction with other humans. Real interaction, not trash talking over a headset behind fake names. Human interaction is so much better.

Love is benevolent evil. It is the sweet plague that devours reason, leaving euphoria in its place. |
#5 had the best analogy I have ever seen in my entire life. I love it. |

I like the one bitching about escort missions. That is why i loved bioshock, with the exception of that bit about starting weapons shouldn't be something you find in your garage that game commits no sins on that list. Bioshock is a near perfect game to such an extent its amazing. |

I agree with him on most points, he made a few stupid ones though, but it's his opinion after all. I get the impression from his writing that he doesn't care much for single player FPS'. |

I just have to say ah-men to what they write in #3 about Escort Missions. "No one has ever liked an escort mission, ever, in the history of gaming. So why do they still exist?" |

Don''t mock me my friend. It''s a condition of mental divergence. |
Those are pretty good can't say I disagree. Except about having weapons like wrenches and the like. I have no problem with killing people with a wrench, if it makes sense I would have one, the problem is how poorly the wrench is used, I should be able to hit people with combinations, kick and grab and bash them, beat their brains out when they are on the floor, instead you peck at them till dead. Also it is a wrench, it still has a tool functionality but never seems to get used that way. Also the weapons showing damage on the targets. I like it when people grab their arm when shot there or fall when hit in the leg, it makes weapons feel more powerful. This can be over done, decapitation and other delimbing and mutilation should be rare, it becomes rediculous when I am able to lop heads of as easy as I can sneeze, this makes more sense for zombies but not for people. |
