I bought Pirates of the Burning Sea today, I though I could have some fun finally. When I installed the game that I have input the buddy key for 14 days trial. I saw on the launch screen there is a test server sign on the bottom, so I though maybe trial play was playing on test server. But I login to Europe(EN) server, I thought they are all test servers anyway. The game glitched everywhere, it is not possible to play because the entire screen is glitched. The game quality is poor. So I think maybe 14 days trial is not good. Since I bought the game and it is included 30 days free subscription so I activate the code again and type in the Game Key. And then something happened, I don't have any credit to login to play anymore, the game ask me to pay. One other thing, it is very complicated to read the subscription page, too many commericals on that page and that is SOE. I am very upset now, if I bought a single game then I am still able to play any time I want, now, I bought a game for about 6 hours then I was not able to play. |

Someone hacked your game key code, call SOE, or return it. I think you should just return it and buy something else. |

Apparently a lot of you are not familiar with return policies of MMO's. If you get a bad key, your screwed, period. Game stores will NOT take open games with cdkeys, because anyone can lie and say that their cdkey was in use, just to turn around and get another key for free. Calling SOE will not do anything either. My friend had a battle with them and EB Games a long time ago about the same problem. They told him to go to EB Games and handle it, and EB games told him to SOE. He ended up trapped in a never-ending loop, battling two companies at once. After a while, he gave up.... it wasn't worth it. My advice, call SOE, cuss them out, call the game store, cuss them out. Once that's done, order another copy of the game from an online store where you know it will not be tampered with. At least, you got all the stress off your chest eh? |

Originally posted by tempestormer That's what your friend gets for buying games at EB games. Go to Walmart, they take anything back. For real though the CS can tell when the game was activated, so he can get a new keycode easy if he's nice to the person he's talking to. |

Yet another example of mismanaged, unethical, and generally apathetic business practices by Sony Online Entertainment. I keep saying it, and people, including the mods on this website, continue to fly to there defense. Ever seen Homer Simpson try and hammer a nail? |
