go back to gamestop with ur receipt. I just picked mine up last week, the pre-order that is and they gave me my key right there at the store. You have to put the key in when u create your AoC account, and they will email you with a link to download the early access client. They just started doing so yesturday, i've yet to receive an email. Good luck

I think there is a bit of a miscommunication.

Normally, when you go to gamestop/ebgames and put $5 down on a game for pre-order it is nothing more than a deposit on the game.  When you go to pick up the game on release day you are then charged the difference between retail price and the deposit.

The early access for Age of Conan is an additional $5.  It is not included in the price of the CE or regular versions of the game.

The pre-order grants one access to the "early access"... its part of the pre-order bonus. The additonal 5.00 charge has nothing to do with gamestop, its charged prior to actually downloading the client.

When you create your AoC account at http://register.ageofconan.com you have to provide your unique key, which should be provided upon pre-order. The additonal 5.00 fee is charged to your account, which you will setup after creating... your payment options etc.

Call gamestop, they prob didn't have the keys when you picked yours up, they have them now.

Here's what I did.  gamestop told me this:

$5 to Pre-order the Regular $49.95 version

$10 to Pre-order Collectors edition

Ok, the money you put towards the pre-order is part of the final purchase price.

The extra $5 is for Early access (You are paying to download the client early and to get 10 more days free.    You get 30 days free with the Game Purchase.)

So, you put down $5 at gamestop, that means that you got put in their system to get the $49.95 one and not the collector's edition.  Gamestop should have given you a AoC scratch off keycard.  You would then follow the instructions on the keycard http://register.ageofconan.com and either signup for a new account or if youplayed Anarchy Online, sign up on that one, use the key gamestop gave you and waalaa.  Then sign up for a subscription (1 mont, 3 months, 6 months) then sign up for early access.  Thenon the main register page, there should be a link to download the client.  Once you click the button, $5 is taken out of your Credit Card on file for the Download and 10 extra days, plus early access on May 17th.  $5 is a steal.

You're total price, if you didn't get the collector's edition minus Sales Tax should be.  $54.95

I'm almost done downloading it, 800mb to go
