This is probably a retarded question (as most of my questions tend to be) but I am curious.

I just preordered AOC this morning. Yes, I know, took my sweet time. I was waiting for more information about performance before I finally made up my mnd. (Yes, I am still bitter about Vanguard, so I waited till the last possible minute)

So, I preordered through best buy.  Yeah, I want the war rhino. Who wouldn't?

Now, for the three day early bit, how do I get into that? Will I get an email with a code to go somewhere? Or how does it work?

A bit confused, appreciate the help

Yes you will get a code sent to you by email but it may take awhile. You can go the aoc forums and look in there general area for the link. Link will say US early release that is the client you want to download or wait for your email.

When you get your mail with the preorder code you register it here:

https://register.ageofconan.com/

And when you have done that you can purchase the early access with your new account ($5 for 3 days early access, and 10 days gaming)

Later when you get your retail box with a new key you must register that to, and you can get your rhino with the /claim command in-game.

Do you know if you have to Pre-order thorugh Best Buy/Gamestop to get the pre-order registration keys to get to start the digital download and start play on the 17th?  I'd like to Pre-order the game from buy.com so I can take advantage of the $30 credit for signing for their visa card, but there's no point in pre-ordering if I can't get the early start and digital download.  I don't really care about the rhino or the other junk.  Anybody know anything about this?  How do you get the pre-order key exactly?  Does funcom e-mail you, or did you get it from the retailer when you pre-ordered?

I got it from play.com. When I follow their link to the funcom preorder website and enter the code, it says code allready in use or inviald. I tested it serval times. I read somewhere that the head start is only when you sign up till 9 of may is that true ?

I did my pre-order instore at the local EBGames. I picked up a card for the Early access and War Mammoth in the store last week. I feel much more secure with card in hand that waiting for some ellusive email. But then that is my own personal preferance.

Quote from my retailers homepage

"Early access sale and download starts may 16th"

Wich is wrong, since it's already started, but I don't belive it's a best before date. What i know though is that it's a limited number of early-access accounts.
