I'm a huge fan ov PvP, but....I will not be playing on a PvP server.  I want to play the game without always watching my back, worried if the guy in my party is going to gank me.  PVE is where I will be till they realize this is a mistake.  FFA PvP is not a good idea on Funcoms part.  You will have elitest guilds forming to dominate the servers.  Soon as you log in to the game, step out...get jumped, respawn, get jumped, respawn, over and over.  Thumbs down on not having factions or some sort of control.  Without control, you have chaos, with chaos you have frustrated people who won't play the game or all roll on a pve server.

Hi, my name is Timmy, and I am 13 years old. I really like this game, me and my friends think it rulz. It has everything we want, blood, gore, boobs, and griefing. I am so glad it is coming out soon, because skool lets out in a few weeks, and now we know what were gonna be doin all summer. I have asked my mommy and daddy to get it for me, to keep me busy all summer. They are so supportive.

I can't wait til me and my friends from skool see all of you in the game. It will be a fun summer, at least, for us. You can run, but you cannot hide from us.

oh, and to set the record straight, I'm a carebear and proud of it.  Just because I'm not big on doing PvP doesn't mean I won't kick your ass if you try to kill me ;)

That aside. FFA PVP allows players to police their own sever. You're comparing a open beta FREE test drive.

There's going to be much more people retail. Guilds will form to protect the innocent. Guilds will form to destroy the innocent.

Don't like the ganking? Pick your side and begin your revenge. Protect those that are a target of what you've undergone.

Others will fill with rage, hate, and seek power. They'll join the gankers. Obtaining power in their own way.

War is upon us. The time is NOW. Who will you be? A follower.. A leader.. A lone wolf? If you aren't up to the task.. die like the little wimp you are or go to a different server. You'll get no pity here boy.

You mean we can't hide from your 20 hour game sessions

For how much effort you guys put into whining you could be thinking about how to fight back against these type of people.  There are already alliances forming just to deal with them, and can you imagine how much more fun it would be to kill them and put them in their place instead of arguing with them on forums or in general chat? 

I guess all you can do is whine and not think of any type of retaliation or the opportunities that open up to fight back.  Have you all got such a weak spine that you are scared to fight against other players in an open environment?  Will you only fight on your terms in arcade like fights?  It really makes me sad to see so many people's first reaction to being picked on is to cry, tell on them, whine, pout, quit playing, etc. instead of thinking of a way to solve the problem for themselves.  Grow a pair and stop trying to ruin the game for all of us that enjoy real fights, and real struggles between people when you already have servers where you can solve your problems by typing, emotes, and forum trolling.

I will be playing on a RP-PvP server, at least to begin with.

I find these types of people fun because, for me, they are my main source for ganking. I actually prefer protecting people or myself in these sorts of situations rather than ganking others if I was given the chance. I find it more fun ganking the gankers.

If you don't like FFAPvP then, honestly, just go to a PvE server. Nobody is forcing you to stay. The only thing I disagree with is how very little enforcement there is of these servers. If the PvP and RP-PvP servers do become ghost towns (and they will unless they make necessary changes) I will probably just move my character to a popular PvE server if and when given the chance. It is fun for a while but can get tiring if it's ganking 24/7.

Yup and the gankers will be the first ones to revisit these forums crying about how unfair it is, and how much the game sucks, and how they demand changes to the rule sets.   Fun to watch.

 This is why I don't play on PvP servers. I spent about 50% of my time respawning and running back to what I was doing when I was jumped by 3-4 wimps who cant win 1 on 1. FFA PvP=loads of wasted time if you're trying to actually accomplish anything.
