Ever since the intro to resilience, the pvp game and pve game are completely seperate. Its almost like two different games now. It looks to me like WoW is going to end up killing its self similar to what happened with swg, but over a longer time scale. Its sad because a person on the wow forums brought up the topic of resillence destroying the game and a dev (blue) replied by saying, we understand your concern and we will be adding superior items(blues) w/ resisilience to more reputation vendors. It just goes to show that WoW is allways going to be a endless grinding game and eventually people are going to see through this and move to other mmos. |

Without a continious cycles of new and improved items entering the game people will very shortly max out their characters. The resulting stagnation as nothing new entered would be far worse than having to actually play the game on a regular basis to keep you uber status. New gear NEEDS to enter on a regular basis to keep the game fresh, and it has to surpass older gear in some fashion or it is meaningless. Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do. |

WoW will never die. Considering games like UO, EQ1 and Lineage 1 are still running, I can't fathom WoW dying in the near future. What's really scary is, WoW has the potential to outlive it's creators... |

WoW will die when Blizzard comes out with their next MMO IMO - it's just too popular. But yeah I agree that Reselliance runied that game. i remeber when the only Epic gear you saw was from raiding MC and now Epic gear is the norm (thanks wellfare PvP). |

In order form worst to best chance to start the killing of WOW!! 2.A new way at looking at an MMO—something different what that is I don’t know!!! But it will happen—the question--isn’t how or what it will be--its when!!! 3. You may laugh at this one, but I do believe this has one of the best shots(partly cause I’m a little—bit a fan boy) A new Star Wars MMO(Star Wars Has the following of millions of people) However, if it is Done right(Maybe Bioware-- hers to hoping) Star Wars could be the one to knock WOW on an immediate Decline because of the following Star Wars has… And how much of the media/websites/forms anything---is all talking about Bioware and the potential Star Wars MMO—and how a huge majority of the MMO community is hoping for that to happen. With the New Star Wars Movie coming out AUG 15th(CGI) and it coming to Cartoon Network in the Fall(at least 100 episodes that follow the Movie)
O and One Final thing----Everyone Knows Star Wars!!!! |

i don't consider a cartoon to be part of the star wars saga |

WoW will die due to it will be to casual and easy for hardcore players. ______________________________ Breakdown: Achiever 40.00%, Explorer 46.67%, Killer 66.67%, Socializer 46.67% KSEA players often seek out PVP in a game, but they are looking to socialize with and form alliances with other players who are interested in doing the same. They often seek out guilds or clans that organize formal PVP events, or work on group strategies and tactics. |

Same as all other MMO's people will just move on, I was hardcore 2005/2006 and left after doing the closed beta for the expansion. Anyone still playing now with all that grinding needs their heads looking at. WoW was 2005/2006 for me, like Planetside was 2003/2004, next big ones will be AoC and then WAR so see you there. |

Does anyone know when Human kind will die??? please for the love of god save us from the stupidity on this site. Every month there is a thread on how wow will die. Funny thing is the fanbois were telling us for years and months AOC was going to destroy it and it will revolutionise the mmo market LMAO. So much for that theory. While you keep saying wow will die, it actually gets stronger and stronger, so yoy shoudl ask what other so called next gen mmo wil die faster than wow lol.

If you're going to stick it out there, don't be afraid if you get it cut off. |

WoW has way too many subs to die in any of our lifetimes. However, WAR will probably put a dent in the subs, but nothing too crippling. In fact, I bet a lot of people that play WAR will also play WoW. It'll be interesting to see what happens later this year. |
