I've noticed a lot on chat about how people were complaining about getting ganked. This is making me want to get warhammer instead. Also, the whole script hacking that somebody allegedly did is disturbing.

Yes i saw alot of this chat as well. It s pvp is quite boring and unispiring to me to say the least.

Sadly, I hate raids and despise getting the ph4t l00t to be better than everybody else. PvP and RP I had high hopes for, but I feel that this game will die not too far in the future.

CNN has damaged you're minds. Maybe you should look into the game before you start bitching about raiding for that Phat loot of yours; this isn't another Indian Jones movie, just maybe read the AoC clan issues and learn something about the game before you bash it with your words of wisdom.

Yeah the crafting is going to be sooooooooooo awesome that it can be on-par with the raid gear. Also what's stopping it from becoming a gankfest? If you want to bash them for their words of wisdom, go ahead, you better be prepared to back it up with yours. This was my biggest fear. Cmon, FFA PvP? A gankfest is inevitable.

Most people complaining had no idea what was going on. I played for hours and got killed once. Right now this type of thing is going to be huge just because people think they are cool. Right now, open beta is a disorganized mess. Just wait until launch when guilds get formed and people have alliances and the ability to counter ganking.

Also this can be simply remedied by playing on a PVE server, still lots of pvp to had (games, sieges, etc...) just not FFA in the world.

Now on a serious note.. it's a test for FFA PVP.. stfu about it already..

THERE WILL BE PVP AND PVE SERVERS. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY ON A PVP SERVER.

And what if he's talking PvP in general, meaning it'll be very easy to gank in instanced battlegrounds and world RvR Mr. Giant Typing? From what I've seen, that seems to be the case. I see these 1v1 battles which leave the victor with 30% HP or less. So imagine if one side gets an advantage, and starts sending 2 or 3 players against the enemy at a time. Those Heals over Time are really gonna help then lol.

It's impossible to gank in a controlled environment.  If you go into a pvp mini game or the borderlands rvr area then you know you are gonna get attacked.  That isn't ganking.

Okay well I was thinking in the sense of 3 people running around killing everyone at once. You're thinking of it as in killing someone for no reason? In any type of PvP you know you are gonna get attacked, so it doesn't make much sense to me whether it's controlled or not.
