 The easiest game to group in is Guild wars by far. I could not go to a town in the game without tons of people asking to group.. the way the game is set up grouping is part of the game so in every town or outpost there are people looking  for players to do missions with.

CoX is amazing for grouping and is a good game, sadly I just cancelled my sub though. My problem with the game is while not necisarilly the fact that it has no equipment, it's sorta related to that. CoX has no alternate activities, I mean it has crafting at higher levels, but not the most elaborate system. I guess I have a touch of ADD and I find it hard to do the same thing for a long period of time. Lol which is one reason I love CoX cause I can just log on, do a mish, and logoff but I guess sometimes I wish there was more to the game then just getting a group and running mission after mission. Though in regards to the OP's question CoX is by far the most group friendly game I've ever played, and it's amazingly easy to get them too.

That's EXACTLY the problem I encountered.  I'm still playing DDO, but you're right about the groups rushing through the dungeons.  I wish most people would slow down, especially if they allow a new player in the group who's never seen the content.

 

I've found that most people in MMO's are like this though.  Always in such a hurry.  To me, it kind of means they're not really enjoying their hobby too much. 

 

 

But to the OP, it is pretty easy to find a group in DDO a lot of the time.  Easiest I've found. 

Guess thats what happens when you spend 2 years with a smaller hardcore community that knows the game like the backs of their hands:) And I must admit, I am guilty of rushing/zerging as much as the next person, sometimes it's a blast to see how quickly you can zerg a quest. (It get's a lot quicker when the realization sinks in that you don;t actually have to kill all the mobs in most quests, charm & summons work wonders in this regard).

I feel the exact same way you do dcretin. I played the free trial for CoX one time got to level 24 (by the end) and I was having a blast just grouping with people and completing mishes, there's so much action and it's great when everyone has a role to fulfill and you can just jump in the fray! I really liked the customization on the characters so my guy looked different from everyone else. (you realize it matters when the customization becomes the funnest part of the game ) It's also one of the few MMOs I'd even bothered to take interest in the story. (Anarchy Online and AC are the others)

I also feel the same way about mishes being the only real substance of CoX as far as gameplay goes, everything else just seems second thought to me. I hope that Champions Online will do much better than CoX did, I hope it comes out real soon, 2009 seems so far away...

For me Vanguard is most easy to find party in any moment of the game . Maybe because grouping is very profitable and most of the player do it, maybe because flexibility of the the party in mean of number and classes (most of the classes can take functions of the others in some portion), maybe because there are only 3 pve servers...

No doubt about it and in agreeement with most posters, City of Heroes. Not only easy to group but players will actively invite and/or accept requests to join.

Get a free trial, enjoy it. Get into a sewers team at a low level, once you get to 14 and get your travel power, it is awesome - fly, teleport, superspeed, super jump - too cool!!

I think everyone is forgeting about GW, the game has a great grouping-system aswell. As soon as you walk in to a town where you have to do some missions you will find players with an icon above their head you just have to ask if you can join and most of the time you are allowed to join.

Yeah, phatpetey is right as rain. Guild Wars is a great ORPG to group in, not only that but the missions are finished quicker & easier with a larger party, just like a multiplayer online game should be-more fun to play when people group up. Thanks for reminding me, my friend gave me an account not too long ago. I might play for a bit!

I would think WoW due to sheer numbers on a server at any given time, then again many prefer solo.  I think DDO had a really great LFG system personally although it's not as popular a game thus a smaller server pop.

1.) The game really nailed grouping -- you can solo all of the content but the game shines when parties form.  Synergies are truly achieved and battles become epic as missions scale (in number of mobs and difficulty) as the size of the group increases (up to 8.)  Pick up teams are the norm for the game.

2.)  All levels of heroes can be found hanging out in Atlas Park at just about any time.

3.)  Perhaps it is the "hero" mentality, but the majority of people are helpful, nice, and welcoming.

How long ago have you tried to level in a pug(pick up group)?  Last time I played, little under a year now, I got stuck at level 36 because it was so hard to find groups.  I ended up having to quit the game because I just couldn't see myself leveling solo, although it was possible, it would have taken many many months to max out.  On top of that I would have missed out on all the cool quests that you need groups for on the way up.

 

As for easy grouping, in my opinion, I would say World or Warcraft, always groups looking for members and I would put Eve in 2nd.  Most content in Eve are for solo players in the beginning, but once you get to the good stuff groups are always willing to hook up for the higher payouts.

Of course there might be better games for grouping easier, but I'm just giving you my experience.

 

Edit:  also, WoW and Eve both have great UI's, makes tracking groups easy and
