Soo funcom and some of the CB testers told the truth when they said there was a magical build that almost completly fixes bugs and performance issues,I already see people eating their words.Well Funcom completly redeemed themselves in my eyes ,dont know about the rest of you.

To my Roleplay homies, verily on the tip, you tis the dawg. |
You know...I would not call this the "Miracle Patch" that does not ever exist for a game...but, this one comes mighty close. I have been waiting for a game to use my hardware the way it was meant to be used. I could get that from Single Player games...but all MMO's were a fail in using the hardware well (Games ran...like EQ2, and some older titles...but, newer ones like Vanguard and LOTRO ran like junk) This is finally what I have wanted...and with the action to boot...I am ready for more... Early start cant come soon enough! |

This new patch has me loading faster, keeps a consistent frame-rate, and has polished a lot of the visuals and bare parts in the interface. Not a miracle but a damned good patch indeed. |

Originally posted by ShanniaYet...when I look at the "official" forums, it looks 50/50 Again, issues arose during play (example...ESC would throw you to desktop...send that bug report though, then select continue game...tada...you were back in...or fell through bridge outside Tortage...relogged...fixed...) So, all in all, the patch is for the "better"...it is moving forward...and will be a very good launch! |

I was falling through bridges and have even fell through the thirsty dog inn several times before the patch, so that's not new. btw did anyone know that below the inn in Tortage there was ocean? lol at least I could just drown myself instead of having to relog. |

Haha, I fell through the Thirsty Dog once last night before the patch. An assertion failed while loading Toratge night-time from Tina and I attempted to continue. When I loaded, I was in the water underneath the Thirsty Dog. The funniest thing: All the NPCs from the Thirsty Dog were standing on the bottom of the Ocean. I managed to swim to them before drowning. Cheers, Riker99 |
