So I guess you guys aren't complaining enough? Wait.. no.. you're the minority.. that's right. So stop speaking as if you speak for the masses!

Also, I and many others understand the issues you are having and frankly I am sorry you are. The more in AoC the better. So I hope that your problems get solved, but folks these endless rants just need to stop.

If you've got a problem. Make an intelligent post about it and lets see if we can troubleshoot it. A lot of the issues you may have are probably comeing from your own system. Yeah it's silly to blame the customer, blablabla, but a lot of problems can be fixed with some simple troubleshooting. Hell I literally fixed my Hellgate from crashing every 30min-1hr with a simple batch file. Who knows right?

    I posted a guide on how to squash all performance related problems and was flamed. Most of these PC gamers know how to turn the computer on and double click the icon to their favorite MMO and nothing else.

    The issue is most of us gamers don't feel that we should have to tweak and troubleshoot our system for anything. If something doesn't work right their is no way it could be caused by something I did. Yea ok...

   I am an IT tech and it always amazes me when people bitch and complain that their computer is slow and then I run some basic scans and theres so many Viruses/Trojans/Spyware on the machine that is worthy of being added to Guiness World Book of Records.

I think people hope this games fails just so they feel better about themselves.  in my several years of online gaming I have seen some nasty nasty betas and launches (Anarchy Online comes to mind).  From my experience the game runs pretty well, there are a few hickups here and there but nothing to have a meltdown over.

I blame it on the community Funcom is attracting. Honestly, in my opinion, never seen such a rabid community on both sides of the fence. It's a big reason i am not picking up the game. Least POTBS, while the gameplay wasnt all there, the beta and launch communities were great.

Well sure, since if you want to play a newly released MMO, what other options do you have right now? People bought PoTBS and TR when they came out as well, doesn't mean they were going to last.  Jury is still out on AOC as well.  Let's see how the 1st month end numbers stack up.

Heck, lets just wait till it releases.

I completely disagree... The reality is Wow's popularity ushered in 10x the amount of MMORPG gamers then we had 5 years ago.. unfortunately the predominance of these people ARE immature... We can expect to see flame ups like this for every release from here on out I think.

MMORPG's, like it or not, are no longer just for the 'geeky' who know how to tweak, mod, and over-clock their computers.. they have crossed into direct competition with console gamers.  IMO console games really only need 2 buttons to play any game... ON and IWIN.

Immature is a word that gets thrown around alot.. but for some kind of yardstick... subject yourself to the official WOW forums for about 10mins... the answer is pretty self-evident.  In time these people will mature, we may need to nudge them along a bit... and if you think AOC and WAR are going tank with such a fresh supply of gamers in the market... maybe you should re-read your Econ101 textbook.

actually i forgot about wow since it has been years since i last played it....ok...you're absolutely right..AoC's community is 2nd worse behind WoW
