Neocron

Hi everybody !!

IM lover of SciFI games and i saw this game and i liked the concept of a game !!!

Reading what players who played this game are telling is it possible that Necron 2 has so little players ???

Like one time i deposited to play Face of Mankind to find NOBODY was online in the whole game !!!

Ofcourse im looking for MMO not sigleplayer gaming !!!

And can anybody give me some page where are Sci Fi games are listed or something like that cuz i wanna play some Sci FI BAAD !!!! Ty

When I played the trial a few months ago(14 days) In 5 days. I only saw 2 people. 1 person was near the starting area, And a random person in the newbie city. Maybe there are alot of high level players. I dont know. But there's basiclly no one at the start. I only played for 5 days and quit. It would have been fun if there were more players. The game has so much to do. Its a community game without a community :(.

It kinda feels like FoM + WoW = Neocron. But it has more to do.

The city's feel like citys.There are shops you can walk in and sit down. Theres so many empty chairs in the game :(. Theres a Ingame internet thing. Where you can access a computer from a Cyber Cafe-ish place. I had fun at the zoo....But it was lonely without getting to know any friends. I went to city hall and saw a bunch of rooms where maybe people would talk or a leader would talk....

Neocron was, back in the day, nothing short of remarkable.

I firmly believe that the PVP system in Neocron is still 'Next Gen', in the sense that this is the ONLY game to implement a 1st/3rd person shooter, that requires twitch style play that is combined almost 50/50 with stats and different weapons that can be modded.

It's a true MMORPGFPSTPS :D

I love what Reakktor did with this game, and it had me more hooked than any other MMORPG.

However, the numbers are what you asked about. I stopped playing a couple of years back, but have been back a couple of times since. The populations are currently very low - but there's still a lot of fun to be had.

Watch this space however, there's an upcoming patch that plans to revert a lot of it back to the successful NC1. NC 2.x have all been terrible.

I agree.  KK needs to add the Neocron avatar combat system to their new space game.  There isn't a single space-based MMOG that also has fully-featured avatar combat.  I don't want to "be a ship."

I absolutely adored NC1 and the whole environment was amazing so very different and still nothing quite like it on the market. That being said over the years has taken a mammoth hit in pop numbers, if only they could some how get up and running properly. Any way  have checked out the forums on there site they say the servers are at peak around 10-15% which is roughly 100-150 ppl according to posters there any how.

I just wish either someone with a big budget would get it or someone would make a new Cyberpunk MMO and i would be on it like a shot

At European peak times you can get 16% on Terra and 6% on mars, with up to 2% on the mercury server.

There arent any real ads in the US for NeoCron. that to me is the main reasion... word of mouth only works so fast and so far.

NC Evo 2.2 is probably still one of the best made _player usable_ games there is. All its missing is an Auction House type setup but there is a built-in in-game forum which is realli decent.

Probably has the best Housing and Vehicle system ever. With a pretty good and set OP system for guild pvp that actually gives its members and allies buffs to help improve crafting and other player skills. its pretty unique when you think about it.

Black Prophecy, Seems a bit like Eve from what I've heard, but we'll know more when more is known...

They are taking a huge risk by making a space combat/trading game and going up against games like EVE. Would instead use the money on developing/marketing Neocron that is still unique.
