First what was missing on WoW.

PvP system. No battlegrounds. Nothing was in stilithus.

Bugs that I can remember are: Bugged SotC for Paladin, Ever stacking reckoning for Paladin, Execute bug for Warriors, Bugged mobs here and there witch you could train your skills on lol, Bug with warchief rend in UBRS (he didnt spawn).

I am sure there are alot more, but that is those i come to think about right now.

  Hmmm....lemme think.

Well, there was the bug with Blink that either dropped mages into the ground, or stuck them in rocks.

There were several raid exploits (which were quickly fixed) allowing warlocks to "portal pull" boss mobs without getting the other enemies.

  The loot bug, of course.

Warrior rage generation was SUCK and FAIL.  Early on...warriors could even tank because of it, combined with threat generation issues.

There were no DR's on controls.  A person could keep you sheeped permanently or rooted.  Roots could hit you from water....dragging you down to the bottom of the lake and drown you.  Fears....fears were evil.

The reckoning bug was great.  They never caught that until Kazzak was released.  A pally one shot an outdoor raid mob with it.  Great stuff.

I'll think of more, give me time.  Still a smooth launch.  Best I've seen...well...next to LoTR.

Nah, none of WoW's bugs were major.  The loot bug was the most annoying...but I wouldn't call it gamebreaking.  I dealt with it.  The worst you ever had to do was relog.  Besides that, the only major issue was their hardware crashing during massive (and I mean massive) city raids.  That sucked...but it was a temporary thing.  Between the hardware upgrades and the advent of Battlegrounds...never had an issue again.

To me the lack of a PvP system was really bad.

I mostly play mmos to PvP.

But hey, i was the only paladin in the world who won the WoW tabard when the PvP system was finally launched so i shouldt complain about the timing, hehe xD

I played on a PvP server from day 1.  I never had this issue...as PvP was abound on my server.  True, I wasn't rewarded in the traditional sense...but those times were the most fun for me.  The world was so much more alive then...chasing alliance across the barrens to remove them from our lands and save the quest givers in crossroads was awesome.  I once ran a pack of them into the ocean at Ratchet and slew them, hiding, inside a sunken ship.

Those days....ahhh....sometimes the killing IS the reward!  That was back when crafted goods were sweet too though....soo many changes ago.  I think the classic WoW was probably best for MY tastes.

Classic WoW was fun yes. But it sure had its foults, as any other games do.

Heres is a list of some wow bugs i found on another forum:

5. "Plainsrunning" was the Tauren's only Racial Trait (see above.)
6. Zeppelins and Boats frequently dropped you into the sea (sometimes resulting in death depending how far out you were).
7. You auto-dismounted on all STV bridges.
8. Hunters had focus, not Mana.
9. Dwarf Mages! Although this was removed at one point, players were able to keep their Dwarf Mages until end of beta.
10. Mages had the spell "Sleep". Polymorph replaced it later.
11. Cross faction mounts (Gnomes on Wolves).
12. Frost Armor and Ice Armor Stacking.
13. Mages had the Invisibility spell at earlier levels. There was Lesser Invisibility, Invisibility and Greater Invisibility. They could also cast while invisible. (Invis Pyroblasting FTW.)
14. Undead spoke [Common], not [Gutterspeak].
15. Shamans had spell "Molten Blast".
16. The Warlock talent Ruin was called Holocaust.
17. Innerfire gave Attack Power.
18. Cities had no maps and guards didn't provide directions. Difficult to navigate cities.
19. Quest rewards were not soulbound. High levels were paying well for [Sticky Glue] from newbies.
20. No auction houses.
21. Guild Creation by just typing a command.
22. Before BGs, massive raids on enemy cities. Hillsbrad still hasn't changed much.
23. Alliance outnumbering Horde by atleast 3:1 (in some cases 4-5:1) on all beginning servers.
24. Warlocks could summon anyone from anywhere.
25. Spell damage had no "up to" coefficient so you could cast level 1 spells for 5 mana and 1 second cast times and get crazy dps.
26. Mage Frost Nova looked like a blue shackle. Do a YouTube search for "Warcraft Beta Mage". Remember those ogres?
27. Mana ALWAYS regenerated.
28. Shaman Water Walking did not break on damage. Could stay in Ghostwolf form while on water too.
29. SM Cath was the endgame.
30. Warlocks could heal themselves and resurrect other players.
31. Undead Players were completely immune to Sleep, Charm, Fear, Polymorph, etc (Passive ability). Shackle Undead and Turn Undead worked on them.
32. Rogue Feign generated a combo point.. and it didn't break Sap.
33. Warriors could charge anywhere, in or out of combat, and didn't need a target.
34. Instant cast Mind Blasts
35. Warlock DoT "Mind Rot", Mages had spell "Phantasm".
36. Lockpicking was a tradeskill that anyone could learn. (See #4)
37. Weapons/gear had no durability.
38. Killing guards gave Honor points.
39. Bandages could not be interrupted. You could run while 'casting'.
40. You could sap multiple targets, and it could be used while they were in combat.
41. Enchanting took herbs.
42. Warlocks could speak Demonic.
43. The sludge in UC has harmful to non-Undead.
44. The character models looked human, and not cartoonish.
45. Warlocks could banish Humanoids.
46. Hunter pets grew bigger and bigger as they levelled. Caused raiding problems..
47. Undead could breath underwater indefinately.
48. Shadowform increased damage by 20%, and reducing damage taken by 20%.
49. There were human druids.
50. Shamans could lay down as many totems as they wanted, not just limited to 1 per element.
51. Warlocks could wear Leather.
52. Outdoor world PVP was actually fun.
53. Could cast Curse of Doom on players.
54. Captain Placeholder!
55. There was no language barrier for the longest time. Could gank and trashtalk.
56. Rogues had "Feign Death" ability, and Druids had "Play Dead" while in Cat Form.
57. Polymorph affected Beasts, Dragonkin, Dragons, Giants, and Critters.
58. Priest ability: "Brainwash"
59. Mind Control was amazing. Could use all of the enemy's abilities, and you could buy items/mounts with enemy NPCs.
60. BoP was called "Bind on Acquire"
61. Bodies decomposed slowly when you rezzed.
62. Players could use Ghost Form to travel long distances, and rez at far off locations.
63. Blizzard promised at around level 40, you could specialize in skills to become a Hero Class. The available hero classes would depend on your base class and race. Human Paladin became Death Knight, Dwarven Warrior became Mountain King, Night Elf Hunter became Demon Hunter, Orc Shaman became Far Seer, etc.
64. Blizzard promised that they would fix player ganking by introducing Dishonor Kills (DK). This was changed to Battlegrounds a few months later, and ganking was never fixed. (TM/SS is still the worst.)
65. Blizzard promised Player Housing.
66. Blizzard promised substantial new content EVERY month.
67. "Track Humanoid" was called "Man Tracking".
68. You could eat or drink while engaged in combat.
69. Levels were capped at 45, and then 50, and so on.
70. Shamans were OP. Sentry Totem trick, no fall damage, lava swimming.
71. The naming policy was actually strict and enforced. You wouldn't be able to get away with the name "Spam" or "Chucknorris"
