Hehe, are you kidding. I never saw any live footage of  WAR, and only played WOW for two weeks, but when I clicked the link on Baso80's post I really thought it was WOW instead of WAR.

I checked several other WAR videos on youtube, just to be sure I was looking at WAR footage and not WOW and it looks almost exactly as WOW. Only enviroments seem to have less atmosphere.

Even the interface looks similair.

Not that thats a bad thing, but come on!

Heh, it's funny to me sometimes.  Everyone always compares to WoW.   I could easily say the UI reminds me of DAoC.....or even UO, lol.  UO had a map and action bar.

DAoC also had mastery trees, and you could respec with specific stones (just extremely expensive.)  Imagine spending around 5K  WoW gold for a respec.

WoW did streamline a lot of things, and I'm in no means a WoW  hater.  I have several lvl 70s that I enjoy playing.  I just find it funny when people always compare to WoW.  I just assume because they haven't played a lot else to use for reference.

Landscape is looking great for the months it still has left. Can already see how they are working like DaoC did, with having environment coming into play with the battles that will be happening.

Looks like a wow movie to me, too bad the kiddy market is so profitable =(

Yes it has a character and a landscape. Obviously, it must be a WoW movie.

ever see the weather in DAOC? its the same engine... its amazing.

The snow in midgard was a snow storm where you could barely see 100 yards in front of you.

It would be nice if weather effects did do something like. Going against heavy storm wind slow you down but going opposite direction actually make your character faster. Ranged DPS classes would be able to turn it benefit.

I see what you mean.  I thought it stood out more inside.  The warrior priest kinda of looked too bright in comparison to the lighting of the environment.  I'm gonna give Mythic the benefit of the doubt and assume its just a graphics feature that hasn't been put in yey

Can't help it, but It does look like Wow. And the
walking animation is horrible. It looks like he's
walking on the moon or having some really heavy shoes. 

I guess after playing to much AOC, I get picky.

Unless I'm mistaken some graphics are turned off or down in this part of the WAR beta.

Although admittadly I have heard such things before and they often don't turn out to be true.
