why do humans build, because it isn''t there |
it's very very true. Internet activation when you log in, internet confirmation every 10 days, only being able to install three times(until you contact customer support), game being activate at the whim of EA, and whatever problems they/you end up having with the servers/installing the game. from Mass Effect Forums on page two

yup I bought Bioshock. Ironic thing is, after getting all freaking frustrated over it, I just went and download the hacked version. Hacked version works 100% better than my purchased legal copy. If you buy spore, just wait 72 hours and download the hacked version. (be sure to buy the game first if you do not support piracy) |

As I, and pretty much everyone else, said in the other post regarding Mass Effect: this is a terrible decision that will most likely hurt themselves more than the pirates. |

Eh, this seems utterly retarded to me. They are actually making the pirated version a superior version of the game? Not only will it not make any of the pirates today to buy the game, but probably turn some of their customers into pirates as well. This seems like an april joke to me. Is this for real?

Always apply the crack before launching. A game is not properly installed until the anti-piracy has been removed. |

They are using this "dumb" method to protect themselves and their profits. It makes total since to me for them to want to do so. In fact if I was a game developer I wouldn't even bother with PC games as consoles are proving to be more lucrative money makers with less risk of hacking or piracy. |

You should not be blaming the gaming companies, but people who pirate the games for these problems. PC gamers that Pirate in any way are facilitating themselves in the downfall of PC gaming. Ironic isn't it? I'm gonna go play Mass Effect on my 360 now! :D |
