 BioWare knows what they are doing when it comes to making something: Mass Effect, Kotor(Knights of the Old Republic for those who don't know), Neverwinter Nights.

 In all honesty, I'm not worried. I trust BioWare in their endeavor.

If they're saying its story driven, what they're probably trying to say is, "We'll give you quest after quest after quest, linking together into a quest, and we'll hold your hand in this way through the whole game until you reach maximum level. We played EQ2 and liked it.".

Bioware does a great job at making story driven games, but if there is no PvP, I won't be playing it.  I love Star Wars (I'm assuming it's going to be a Star Wars MMO)  but I love PvP more and I just can't see how it's going to be fun if I'm playing an epic Star Wars game and only following a scripted path and not being able to do my own thing; like hunt Jedi.

As long as it is based in Forgotten Realms i will give it a try.

If it is a Star Wars MMO, and I think it's a very big if IMO, then it will most likely be KOTOR setting. You could then create a Sith character (I would imagine that Sith would be a character option), still have PvP and hunt Jedi.

However, they could make a kickass PvP system with a kickass storyline.  Who knows at this point, I'm hoping it has it all lol.

Who gives a shit about story?  No one does. Nobody plays games for a story. They play games to kill shit , adventure , socialize , and progress. Not read a story.

Well the best part about Mass Effect is the story.

I'm concerned that Bioware's MMO is based on Star Wars.  Also factions suck, no factions FFA PvP is good, horde versus alliance sucks.
