Hi, for the last week or two I've noticed that few players where sporting the Mount & Blade game in there signatures and it got me wondering what this new and unheard of mmorpg was, finally some one put a link and I followed, cutting a longer story short, after downloading and playing for over two hours, I sadly found out that it was only a singleplayer game,.... But what a singleplayer game it is, Man!.. the horse back combat is the best I've ever seen, ok so the graphic aren't beyond direct X ten, but who cares, the whole game is very addictive to play, I can't wait to play the full version, as soon as I can I'll be buying the beta version, haven't had a game make me so impatience for it final version in a long time. Another game the dev's should look at to see what can be done when thinking out of the box. would also be intresting to think what it would be like, if it were a mmorpg. Thanks for the heads up on this game guys,( not sure who it was that posted a link and where on the mmorpg it was posted) |

i have also been playing this game and it was great fun imo the graphics i thought were pretty cool i loved the arena battles but hated Jousting, would make a damn fine MMO and i would definately sub to it if it could be done. |

Im unsure sorry i was too busy just chasing bandits down and ransaking all there gear plus taking some hostage to sell on the slave trade :) then b4 i know it just as i was getting right into it i could not go any further with the trial as i had reached lvl 7 :( but i will roll a new char and see if i can find out what ever you do dont visit a town if it is being raided lol got me and the villagers butt whooped :) |

As well as play the rich nobelmans son, I'm also trying the game a merchant and a hunter, the full version offers even more starting types. I thought it was up till level 6 for trail, the game will let you keep playing that or any other type of charcter for as long as you want, but we do have buy the key if we want to level higher, I'll be getting it soon, cheaper while in beta than when they release it as a full version, about $45-$50 dollar au, $28.xx at the moment. I don't know if they would ever consider a mmorpg version, but I hope they do a standard multi-player version as well.

The game is great fun considering it takes up so little memory. Should make other game developers think, as we are approaching 10+ gigs as a norm for games. |

Anyone else interested, the link is above in a prev post. Download of this game is only 128mb and free to try. This is a single-player game and in Beta stage. Trail game will, let you play as long as you like and with as many characters as you like, but will only let you level them to level eight, you will need a game key to level them higher, nothing else far as I can tell, has been locked out, remember it is still a beta, even thou it feels like a finished game in part. Best way I found, is to think of this game is as a lite solitare mmorpg or a nice game to play while waiting for a diffrent and new mmorpg to come along.

Yes, you just ride up to the cattle and you will get a popup asking to driver the cattle forward or to keep them where they are or to slaughter some of them for food. Once they start moving you have to keep just behind them, or else you could lose them especially at night. They will not go in a straight line. Tip: use the space bar if u get too close to them (space bar unpauses the game and u will stay still, the cattle will move forward) as you will get the popup again whether to move them forward/slaughter them again if you bump into them. Better still, rather than buy them, you can steal them from enemy villages.

Thanks sizewell , your going to think I'm a fool, I thought if I clicked on that choice, I thought it would drive the cattle away, (scatter them) don't ask how i worked that one out. thanks again for putting me straight. |

yep found out the hard way about entering a captured town, very painfull.
