My hard drive is kind of full and I was thinking about going to grab an external hard drive to put AoC on and play it from there....can I do that?

I''m not SUPERstitious,but I''m a little stitious

If your gonna hook it up to USB port make sure its 2.0 compliant or it prolly will load too slow.

If your computer is less than 2 years old it prolly is USB 2.0. I honestly dont know how to check.

I can't think of a built-in place in Windows to check.  A diagnostic program like sisandra can do it.  Get it from download.com or some place like that.

But definitely, if it's not USB 2.0 or firewire or eSATA, then an external hard drive is going to play horribly slow.

just get a new internal hard drive and use it as a data drive... (basically just adding more data capacity to your computer)

then if you put AoC or w.e on that hard drive it will be just as if you got a fresh external...but cheaper and WAY faster
