no gf atm wither...broke up with gf a few months ago...cos we live to far :(

I tried this game a year or so ago, was interesting enough for me to pick it up after the free trail and I did.

After a few days I realized it was the most boring monstrosity of a game I had ever played. After the gloss faded I realized I was spending 10 times more time traveling from point A to B to finish a mission than I was actually doing stuff like fighting rats, crafting, conversing WTF ever.

Then we add in the fact that my daughter couldn't technically play while my toon was training. I count the training of skills as playing as well. It IS a part of the game so yeah it's playing. This effectively meant that there was no family play time for us.

I don't mind travel time in games, god knows that is every game you're goign to spend time running back and forth, but when I can go take a big greazy crap and come back and still not be at my destination, something is seriously wrong with mechanics.

I've raised 3 kids and believe me I know patience, but that was just wrong. The graphics update was nice as I logged a trial recently just to check it out, the newbie tutorials have improved exponentially but the game play is still just the same ol same ol.

yeah i noticed this when i played too, i was cool with the taking a few hours to train, hell i was ok with the 2day ones. but thats as far as it should go in the way of training time. 30 days to up a skill an not be able to train any others while your doing it is effin nutty.

Well Alot of the skills that take 30 days to train up arent required until your about a year-2 years into the game. Lvl 5 skills get important for things like cap ships which arent used until your in a big allience and everyone likes you which takes away.
