Originally posted by MooonPaying just to beta test a game is lunacy, even if it is only 10 dollar. Its the principle that counts. If people were already planning to buy the game, and now pre-order to get the beta version of the game earlie, thats another story. And people should stop calling it an open beta; an open beta is FREE and available to everyone. No invites, Fileplanet subscriptions or payments needed. This should be called a paid beta.

You are not paying $10 to get into beta. You are paying $10 out of $79 for your CE. Withthatsaid, I do think open beta would mean open to ANYONE....but oh well, if they are letting me play the game before it is released by buying the CE, they can call it anything they want.
For other posters who bought at gamestops that have no code.....i was worries that i would get screwed so avoided gamestops and ended up buying from the bricks and mortar bestbuy....they had the boxes with the codes in it! |
