"It''s good to be evil."

You won't be able to run on high settings.

Only possible with 8800GT (and better) and the 3870X2 (and better) setups and probably you should add 1GB of memory as well to be sure.

Hope this helps.

32-bit Vista (and xp) supports only 3.xx (3.25 i think) gb of ram so with 4 gb ram the op need to upgrade the os as well.

Yeah, excellent point and actually your graphics card memory is also calculated towards the maximum as well so actually you might already going past the maximum that 32bit windows allows uses.

hmm,  the graphic card i think

i use a 8800GTS 512MB  (G92) with the same cpu like you and a 32-bit xp system with 2 gb ram

vista 32-bit should not crash with 4 gb ram but the system can only use 3.xx gb ram. so 4 gb is a waste of money with a 32-bit os.

i think you will be fine with a better graphic card

nothing stops you adding single 1 gb ram , but you also must take into effect gpu graphic uses rams too.. so 3.2-512=.2.7 or so.. :)

unless your running dual channel ram...in that case you lose the dual channel benefits with odd number ram

Dump the OS, pick up Vista 64 home premium, should have gotten it with your Vista box, add 3 or 4 more RAM after you upgrade to 64bit version.

Drop a Nvidia 8800 GT into it, best card for price and performance and least problems so far in every post I've seen.

Your set after that.
