"pleasantly paralyzed"

I have no issues with the environmental graphics but when I put on new pants I got from a quest I was a little shocked.

EDIT: I purposely did I side view so you could see my under armor poking out through my robe. The armlet and the pants, and how the belt overlaps the pants as well. Why is it that none of the armor seem to fit on my character correctly?

Those pants are simply broken. It’s the pants, not your settings/comp/engine. Again, those pants are simply broken. It’s also the only pair in OB that is broken like that. Let’s not make a mountain out of a mole hill here.

Shouldn't be hard for them to fix, its an art issue.

i don't see it.

What is funny is how the visual blends with the robe in the Op's post...that it almost feels like it should be part of the robe..

But, the 2nd image shows the issue...but, it is not a major complaint for me...as noted in my images above...most games do this.

oh is that it :p yeah WoW , EQ2 , Vanguard...linegae 2...all games do it...

Here are a few reasons why your pantsmay be showing though your robe.

1. Thread bare robe. See a seamstress!

2. Looking at too many nipples flying by. Shameful. Get the man a chastity belt will ya.

3. You're too fat. Go fight some Picts to ware off all those pints of ale!

Just roll a female avatar, you won't want to put pants on her anyways

But yeah, looks like there might be some clipping issues, to be expected, hardly a deal breaker I would think.

Well, when my character uses a particular spell that changes her appearance, her shirt appears to be on her head.  I guess it could have been worse... it could have been her knickers.

Ask a question and you are stupid for 30 seconds, never ask and you are stupid for life.

I really like AoC, but still...that would be horribly annoying if I saw that on my character.

Yes this is the most important thing in the world, a few pixels out of place.

You know I can accept a little "clipping" if it means a good core game. Lets work on the game and then the graphics.

I thought the paperdoll is based on 4 layers in AoC... is there no way to change the order of the layers ? What is that orange button below the boots ? Looks like a cycle button...

Basically its a feature if you can have the armlets under or over your robe. But clipping would be a  100% downer ofc.

It might not be the most important thing in the world, but it would be pretty irritating to have your underwear bleeding through your armour.  I'm not crazy about my shirt sitting on my head when I'm in an alternate form, either, and if it's still like that at release, I'll bitch a bit at them.  While in beta, I'll just report what I see and hope they do something about it.
