The character creation tools is very nice and gives you a good ,many options to make a unique character. Thats all I will say for now, I will have a complete over view later on, for the most part I can say that the game needs more time before launch, but not in a Vanguard way, more of a 2 month polish on everything ... I will post later tomorrow... Performance is an issue , even on a medium setting .......and I crashed |

2d sprite foliage is a very big no no for me , notmatter how much it reduces lag. It looks very fake once you see it twisting around with the camera. It is a personal preference , it just drive me insane when i see that in a "Next Gen" game, I would of rather had less textured foliage then having a huge massive amounts of 2d sprite foliage...

I have 4 gigs of ram coming in, so after that we will see if the performance improves, ruight now with 2 gigs, the game is almost unplayable because of lag this could be becuase of how many people are on, server location or just not enough memory... |

last time i played was monday and it was 20fps..in my 3870x2 ( overcloked) q6600 ( overcloked to 3.6 ghz) 4 gb crucial balstic ram (overcloked) |

dual core 2.4, 2gig ram radeon 3870 and on medium settings w/ max AA i get 30-64 and it runs very smooth, a few crashes but its the beta client so yea.. thats expected. |

E8400, 4 gigs, X-Fi gamer, 8800GT, XP32 60+ instanced 30-40 in town. Running high settings, bloom off _____________________________ E6850 3 Ghz, 3 gigs, Onboard sound, 3870 512mb, XP32 35-50 instanced 20-30 in town (man the 3870 kinda sucks...bummer) _____________________________ E6600 OC'd to 3Ghz, Bluegears 7.1 Dolby hardware sound, 2 gigs, Vista 32, 8800GTS 640 30-40 Instanced 25-35 City (Stupid Vista here...and an older driver thanks to a video playback bug in newer drivers...but will try yesterdays release to see if fixed...)
Overall, these all are halfway decent (Rig 1 is my baby though...it is awesome)...and I need to state...ZERO crashes, fast loads (after figuring out an issue with the 3870 which had problems) This is one fine game...(Rig 1 also uses an Xbox 360 controller...and you have not played til you do a fatality with your button combo's...woot) |
