Yea of course there will be a loading screen when you enter a battleground or when you go into the frontier.
But unlike Age of Conan, there wont a fucking loading screen every time you enter a house or when you die in pvp.

nor will you have to turn your graphics down to gameboy level in order to experience smooth large scale pvp battles.

I'm not about to bash WAR....but I'd like some proof of that.

Fact is, Mythic's other MMO did -NOT- handle large scale PvP well. Regardless of what people want to say, DAoC's big Zerg's were one huge lagfest.

Let's hope the developers have improved that in WAR.

Dunno what sorta PC you played from or what your connection was like but I played DAoC and with 100 people on each side (200 for those mathematically impaired) it ran fine. I'd played in some cases where there was 350ish people around and it ran well enough to play.

I dunno how much more "large scale" you could have gotten back in DAoC's day.

I have several videos here on my external HD (FRAPS of actual Relic Raids and such things) that tell a very different story. And it certainly wasn't the computer, nor the Connection.

But hey. It's just one person's experience, isn't it?

Scenarios = Instanced

Open World RvR = Obviously "Open" and not Instanced at all.

Zones = 95% open - Dungeons with loading screens (solo instance missions too) are exceptions to this.

STOP WHINING!
