Im a gamer, I have
LOTS of LIVES!

To whomever is the moderator of this forum, I'm making a plea that we get a new forum for any threads which start in the General Discussion forums for all games and then is deemed not appropriate for that forum and is placed here instead.  You know, like the one that compares WoW to McDonalds?  I'm pretty sure that one started in the General Discussion Forums and then rather than trash up that place, it's put here instead.  Well, personally I'd prefer that it wasn't placed here either because although it may be discussing WoW, no one here really gives a hoot.  Maybe a "not appropriate for general discussion" forum or a "moved thread" forum or something.  I don't really care what you call it, just keep the trash out of here too.  Please?

Who's with me on this?

There are no forum specific moderators.
Game-specific threads go into game-specific forums (WoW-threads in WoW-forum and so on).
Thread moved to site suggestions.

Well how about an indication that a thread was moved from somewhere else like modifying the thread description to say "moved"?  It's really annoying to suddenly find a 4 page thread at the top of the WoW forums where 90% of the posters are from the general forums.  If I could see that the thread was moved from the General Forums, at least I would know what to expect and can avoid the thread if I so desire.

 

Just a suggestion.  I've been a forum moderator myself albeit for a much smaller site and know that you guys have a tough job.  Just trying to make it a more pleasant experience for everyone.
