I'm pretty sure it's not PvP one, as I've heard that the PvP one is 7gb, and this one is 13gb which is the same as the Open BETA client.

download speeds were slower than the fileplanet download manager for me. I would say that it would be safer and more reliable to just download from fileplanet. no chance of pesky viruses or keyloggers. also if something were to go wrong you would have a stable starting point to troubleshoot from. even if it takes a couple of days you'll still be playing the beta a couple of weeks before its retail release.

I am downloading from this site, is this the open beta? I am getting 500kb/s from this site, whereas at FP I waited 3 hours in line, and then for some stupid reason reset me to the back of the que when I down to spot 5. The bit torrents I get about 100kb/s, but at the site I get around 500kb/s and the files are split into 6 packages. I am downloading to at a time so I am technically downloading around 1mb a sec, much quicker lol. But is this the open beta version?

I'm downloading it and I'm pretty sure that it is, I'll be done in about 10 hours so if you haven't finished by then I can say.. If it isn't I'm not downloading again. Open BETA closes on 11th May anyway, so if the download takes 2 days its not worth it for 3 days play.

I`m installing the client from gamenode,not sure if its the right one though,it installs really slow but that could be my PC ,only got a opteron 2.0ghz dualcore with 2gig of pc3200 ram(400mhz ram)

Getting the Client from Age of Conan Downloader, it goes @ 80kb/s. Started yesterday at 03.00 am (GMT) and about 30 hours later, without turning off computer, i'm at 80% concluded...

FP sucks man,I had like 20kb per second:S!they are cheapass with there servers..

anyways I think the client from gamenode works,I had to login and after that the gameclient started to update.

So... I got up this morning to see that my AoC client had finished downloading. I tried to install it and "Data Files are Corrupt"... 12.5gigs of download down the drain.

I went back to Fileplanet webpage do it all over again and they aren't even hosting the file anymore?

Anyone have a way to get the client besides fileplanet?

hmm,I cant start the game,update is ready but whenever I push the Play button I get this error report window and at background I see a dos screen with Asertian failed..

maybe its my PC or the client is not good..

Edit: the client from Gamenode is not working,I get a authentication failure at the second log in and on the top of the window it says general betaclient ,so dont wast your time downloading it:)
