hi, i am looking for a beta key. i read like some people already have multiples lv13 and dont play anymore. i need to get a feeling of the game before i decide to buy it.

i am somewhat dissapointed i got home from work and missed the fileplanet giveaway. i signed up for the closed beta a year and half ago, played anarchy online at start, .. but havent got any invite about the open beta.

i found it a bit rude when you go trought the process of filling their form, dx diag, writing a resume of why you would like to test their game and when its time for open beta, they dont invite .

Is my math correct in thinking that around 1,000 of the people who got to beta the game and vote here are not buying it or are unsure of purchasing it? It is late here ( 3 AM ) so I could be off, but something seems "off" about the numbers.

Yes, it is a random sampling of over 1,500 voters about their thoughts on AoC since trying the beta.  Nothing is wrong with your numbers.  With the number of votes and the 50,000+ Preview Event, I have enough data to make some statistically predictions and conclusions that will stand up in academia as an accurate representation of the preview event as a whole.

I've been on the bandwagon for AoC ever since I quit WoW 3 months in, and have been desperately looking for a new mmo to play.  I wanted AoC to succeed, but it's been a big disappointment from playing beta. 

Still filled with bugs.  Combat is Button-Mashing gallore.  Skill tree is similar to WoW.  I think gameplay wise, WoW actually beats it; which is embarrassing to say.  I just don't see how it can be any more dynamic than WoW, with the fact that it has so many similarities and lacking faults. 

The only thing that AoC has on WoW is the graphics right now.

So, with 1540 votes, 531 are definitely keeping their pre-order (or probably will pre-order), and 696 are undecided. That's a lot of undecided, as it should be.

A small, but extremely vocal minority figure it's not worth buying and have cancelled their pre-orders. Sounds par for the course.

You think you can take any poll on this site seriuosly?  This site has people with many multiple accounts to skew any poll or rating int heir favour or agasint.  just need ot look at the ratings of the games on this site lol.  This te ceased to be a source of good information along time ago, now its just a site of flames haters fanbois and biased opinions nothing more.
