He's right almost all the drama is from AoC people.  WAR people have always been pretty laid back and into their game.  Half the attackers attack both games...

I disagree, people like Battlekruse and Ghoul have never had an interest in AoC, not only them but people like Page they all post flamebait all over the place to get a rise from both sides. As soon as AoC was getting 100k hits a week here at mmorpg.com we see a rise in the number of posts like this where people have to flame the game from a distance or spread misinformation. Same can be said of people relatively new to following AoC who think its right to come here and flame up the war fans. The fact is long standing forum members have better nit picking at AoC for a long time, but only post praise for warhammer, they just stepped it up a notch due to the publicity the game is getting now.

Dont' tell me what I have an interst in. I palyed DAOC for a long time.  I enjoyed the RVR ans Sieges. And that is what AOC promised. You fanaticism for AOC is pretty damn scary though

 

 

Its like, what are your motives for even posting something like this here? whats the point? is it a race, cant both games co-exist? So many people called you out all last year a troll'r, post history doesnt lie. If you have an interest in the games, then it certainly doesnt come across as constructive.

Taking that a little personally elvenangel?  I thought qualifying my statement with "rabid" and "fanboi" would give the more even-handed and rational WAR enthusiasts breathing room.  

Regardless, I don't think any backing off is required.  Simply put, WAR isn't in a position to even be compared to AoC so "defeat" is only possible in one's imagination at this time.  More important would be to accept the fact that can and will co-exist together because they aim to satisfy different needs.

Again, I was responding to this thread -- if someone was nervy enough to write the same thing about AoC already defeating WAR, I would respond in kind.

Sorry for any confusion..  I didn't mean to imply that no WAR people stir up drama on the AoC side or vice versa, but most of the stupid drama i've seen have been from AoC fans who jumped ship, and then AoC fans going against them on these boards. 

I'm sure there are people that bash AoC just because they are fans of WAR, and people that bash WAR just because they are fans of AoC but it's like a vicious cycle.

Again we should all want both games to succeed as the market for us as MMO gamers is weak as hell right now.  It's really in a bad state...  We should welcome new entries into it and we should all support new ideas and games as they give us more Worlds to get lost in.

I think there are a lot of cool intelligent people arguing over nothing just because some moronic trolls are stirring up drama left and right and these people are getting drawn into it.  It's like if an idiot attacks AoC claiming WAR is better because of blah blah blah and then someone defends it they might get fed up and lash back about WAR because of blah blah blah and thus insult more of these cool people causing them to come back about blah blah blah.   I've confused myself...

war, you are my last hope, i already cancel 2 pre-orders of aoc. i can't say much except for that aoc is on the same road with vanguard. both great with hype, then sink after rush release, and 2 months after released none playing them.
