Warhammers realm vs realm will be instance type battling, jus like there cousin WoW, so yes there will be load screens......like i said before, i would rather play a game that has awsome graphics and fast load screens, then no load screens and have second rate graphics like WoW has......if you dont want long load screens/time,  get rid of the Atari your playing on...

Um ok? Its no secret there will be instanced RvR. Its also no secret that there is Open world RvR.  What is the point to this post or are you a troll that I just fed?

He seems to be annoyed with the loading screens between the individual zones. I also can't say I'm very happy with that but I wouldn't draw any line between that and instancing, it's not anywhere similar.

Hmmm...troll anyone? Not that it matters. But I think some of you have your expectations for these games set a little too high, and not very realistic. You want awesome graphics, but no load screens? Regardless of your obviously nuclear powered machine, how many people are going to be on at the same time before it becomes a lag fest? You people don't seem to understand that loading/instancing is sometimes needed to keep the game running smoothly. If you don't want load screens, maybe you should buy a console system and play Oblivion or something.

lol wows graphics are second rate?  LMAO, its not about graphics its about art style and wos art style is amongst the beats you will find in any mmo.  You think game graphics is about shiny surfaces and pastic looking envirnments?  If so vanguard would win, evn though the texturing and environment is fuucking poor.  Blizaard have some of the best character animators artists and modellers of any game devloper.  Because they dont produce games with the so called shiny grpahics, you think their graphics are second rate lol???

I bet if they wanted to to they could make a game that 100x better graphics than crysis along with the gameplay of all of their games and still beat every single mmo out to dat and in the futre.   Wows graphics and world environment can stand upto any games design.  Newsflash they didnt go for the unlra relasitc grpahics in any of their games.

Plus in EQ2, Vanguard, AoC all these "uber graphic games" cannot cope with 20 players on screen fighting let alone 80 as WoW has in Alteric Valley.

Oh no there will be zones....

Give me a break Dark Age of Camelot's Frontier were zones as well.  But they were huge zones that made sense when you zoned.  Zone through the border keep door.  Zone on the ship when you go to another realm's frontier.  Or Zone when you port someplace. 

What DAoC never had was loading screens ever few minutes when travelling into buildings.  Plus their Zones were really large (more similar to EQ & EQ2 then to Guild Wars or AoC)

How stupid can most of you be, asking for top end graphics. I have a top end computer with $2000 just in parts and it can run anything. I use this computer to play WoW, D&D,EQ2, City of Heroes and Lord of the rings all I ask from my computer is to run WELL in all circumstances. I don't play to compete on who has better, I'm in it for fun, and Warhammer has the best chance of being fun.

Keep your AoC, I absolutely knew  it was gonna suck, as I played some newer offline RPG's and they are all load screens and small videos ( Witcher, BioShock ). Aoc is the same. Warhammer can always patch in better graphics later as Lotro did it and it's now the best.

Well, you graphics hounds got what you asked for with AoC now live with it.

I don't mind playing games that load zones that EVERYONE shares but I hate instancing like in WoW, where every group has their private version. That kind of instancing makes playing a MMOG pointless. Just play a multiplayer version of a single box game if that's what you like.

   What game has amazing graphics and no load screens? Have I missed something?

Wrong. At least in WoW you don't go into a loading screen zoning into regular zones (Barrens to Ashenvale for example)

I like ppl who posts about something they dont know anything about, its pointless. And so what if it has loading screens, if it was the case it wouldnt be the end of the world. its not that often that you run from one zone to another anyway. you start in zone 1, does all the quests there, then moves on to zone2....

Some WoW quests happen in multiple regions. So understandable if someone not like loading screens all to time. Not to mention not all stick with one region doing all quests, because other region might have some bit easier to help again with harder ones.

I only look for one thing in a game: is it fun. 

And remember that all game mechanics in a game, are there for a reason.  They devs never say, "this game is too fun, lets add something that would suck, like zones."

Sorry, they just don't say that.  They do what they think they should do to make a fun game.  If you don't like it, don't play and / or make your own.

Yea of course there will be a  loading screen when you enter a battleground or when you go into the frontier.

But unlike Age of Conan, there wont a fucking loading screen every time you enter a house or when you die in pvp.

Lol i hate that pvp death loading screen, one of the most annoying things to me for some reason :)

i just hope i can enter a building without loading that's all i care about, seamless town and ill be happy enough. nothing worse then when i played lotr and had to load into all the building's that was lame lol
