Age of Conan

hey guys,

I preordered the collectors edition, and i was just wondering if by doing so i just secured the early access on may 14th, or if i also get to enjoy the open beta starting may 1st.

I tried to look at funcom's website, but they said that the open beta would be exclusively through fileplanet.....but if i preordered...shouldnt i be able to get in too? If not, thats @#$@#$%^@#$^)) up

you get access on the 17th...not a day earlier

Wal-Mart, for example, has no Early Access (from what I've read)

i just got the code and made a new account at funcom....its pretty lame that, since i preordered, i will have to pay 5 bucks to access the game 5 days earlier, and also, why just have the fileplanet folks get to beta? how about giving it to ppl who actually paid the full price to preorder this game? bad move funconartists......

It's exclusive to FilePlanet because they probably dropped a boat load of cash off at FC HQ in Oslo.

You got the code today? Isn't it too early? who else got it? nothing for me

pre-order prices all around have been dropped to reflect that $5 for the 10 days play time.

With your pre-order Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, you will be able to participate in the 3-day Early Access Program. Early access period starts on May 17, 3 days before the commercial release on May 20, 2008. You may begin downloading the game client files and installing as early as May 14. With early access, there is a nominal fee of $5, which covers the cost of the download and includes 10 days of additional game time.

I received the bonus key today from Gamestop and also started new account that starts the 17th you can download the client starting the 14th of may.

$5 = 3 day headstart plus 10 days game time. And box prices have been lowered too.
